Haha that would be me, looking forward to seeing you participate in this event!

Yes, these will be provided for as well as a stipend for food and local travel during the event.

Randomized brackets could mean someone gets lucky that wont stand a chance especially if the best players end up on one side, but loser's bracket should help right?

This event aims to establish who is currently the "best" in the NA/SA regions.

Thank you for the kind words. All this would not be possible if not for my team, partners, and the wonderful StarCraft community. I should be thanking you all. You guys are the real MVP. :D

Holy crap, this is great news! Even with the remastered release, I never once thought there would be a NA tournament with a prizepool this big in a million years! This really gives incentive for all those pros to polish the rust off and get practicing, I'm so excited!
The NA SCR launch event with Tastosis/Day9/incontrol was the best cast I've watched in years, so this should be just as much fun, only with the added benefit of there being a real prize to play for.
Thanks so much for organizing this guys.

This is good for the USA scene because I hear it doesn't have many players coming back yet as the rest of the non-Korean foreign scene.
I'm thinking Chilean players will do well.
