Is it reasonable to attend with an 1600 MMR rank for fun, or the average playerbase for tournaments like these are in the 1800, 2000+ ?

Everybody is fine, or even happy, to meet an easy opponent in one round. And you get the opportunity to perhaps face one of the best players outside korea. So if you want to sign up, it really doesn't matter how bad you are, just go for it.

I think If I play a bit more I could get to 1700+. Back then (12 years ago) I could snatch down some national B members from my country (Hungary) and was C on PGtour.

Would love to find a free Sunday as well, to participate! I remember one of the best things in BW was when the ladder reset and we could face all those big names you kept reading about and watching games of! I always got smashed, of course, but tournaments like these and ladder reset really are wonderful for the community, in my opinion! =) Kudos to the organizer(s)!

But I can't get the email to send . I've tried resending it like 10 times lol. guessing you checked your garbage folder etc... Also, entering right email? Maybe try another one for next time and see what happens.
