I've been blindsided by them a couple of times and I was thinking about appropriate response, but I was curious as to what you guys suggest before I draw conclusions of my own. Thanks in advance!

I insta-leave the game when I see them. I play the game for fun and SHs just suck all the fun out of it. Same with TvP, it's not fun at all atm so I just insta-leave every tvp.

Personally I go for lots of hellions / hellbats with a few medivacs to heal and a couple thors to add some extra damage.

Keep hellbats in your army to delete broodlings once they land, keep some thors to delete broodlings before they land. Once you've cleared out the broodlings you're free to push up because a significant amount of his army is now busy recharging and cannot attack. The worst thing you can do is just sit there, and if his army sans the swarm host is large enough to defeat yours then you would've been done for anyway if he chose to spend his resources and pop on anything else than swarmhost really...

I think this is a bad idea. The Zerg player will just wait until the swarmhosts recharge and maybe sacrifice 1-2 bases in the process and then swoop with his army + the locusts in and kill your army. Then the game is over because you can't rebuild your army with locusts swooping in every 30 seconds (or whatever the timer is) and resetting it. The better approach imo is to go for lots of harass like thor drops and hellion runbys and try to outharass him while aggressively hunting down the swarmhosts with your hellion force. If Swarmhosts have one weakness it's dealing with harass. Still difficult to win though and it's the reason why I play mostly bio. Just attacking with your army is suicide though.

Why wouldn't you survive this swarmhost wave if you survived the last one? Surely you shouldn't move out if you took large losses. Becausewhen you attack on creep the Zerg can flank from multiple angles making the trade MUCH more favorable for him.

I got challenged to a 2v1 at work and I was wondering if there were some cheeses I could implement to spice things up. I typically like to go for Macro games which is why I'm asking. Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance! If you are on the 2 player side, have both players secretly agree to worker rush xD. Nothing you can do 26 workers vs 13-14 xD

@Mun_Su - I was thinking early Cyclone shenanigans, so I might settle on proxy Cyclones.

Got a huge economic advantage, upgrade advantage (2-2 vs 0-0) but still can't beat protoss once they teched to disruptors, keep getting outtraded in the end

Based to maru's streams, against disruptor compositions, he seiges with range libs or leapfrogs tanks towards protoss base. Always stim a few units in front to tank nova shots. From there its just taking efficient trades until you win.
