quoting this for later. i don't think his pvz is any less worse than his other matchups.
he has builds, and he has the meta down pat, including a better late game pvz than most. if some of you guys really think he is that bad, then you should also be ready to be pleasantly surprised.
With the overlord drop nerf I could see Zest's PvZ improving a lot next season. Unfortunately it is after his match against Dark but the nerf should shore up his weakest matchup for season 2.
Trap winning against Dark could help Zest study Dark's playstyle, but then again, Dark might have improved since then. TRUE played so badly against Zest (I didn't watch his series against Leenock) that his 3-0 victory really doesn't indicate anything. I hope that Zest can somehow pull through tho.
If you're gonna study PvZ, this IEM is perfect for it. The drop nerf should help a lot as well. Not just with build variety, but it's something Zest specifically had trouble with. Dark never impressed me in the matchup at IEM, so who knows? It might just be doable somehow.

Trouble is drop nerf isn't coming in time for Zest's match. But I definately think Zest has a chance vs Dark it seems to be both their weakest match up.
Due to his PvP and and PvT again. I wish he was in a group with more Protoss and Terran in IEM, he would have been able to at least make in to the Ro12 TT
I will be honest, i don't think Zest can fix his pvz fast enough to beat Dark. At least not if he tries to play standard, maybe really well prepared builds could do it but idk how likely that is. It's frustrating because he definitely would be good enough in the other two matchups :/
Thought he played good except for game 3. Sad that one fuck up on Abyssal cost him the game. Still only the first season of gsl and with the new patch coming soon maybe he will be able to fix his PvZ and get farther than ro8 next season
