The games were rather meh, but that's mostly because maru prepared really well and stats wasn't really on the same level.

I hope Maru doesn't take his foot off the gas or fall victim to the hoodoo of the winner's curse. A Blizzcon victory is all that remains to polish off a distinguished career! Let's hope Rogue and Maru don't end up in the same group again at the end of the year!

As a Zest fan and former KT fan I lament that those other teams are not around any longer. No question the Jin air guys are benefiting from that team environment.

We aren't dealing with flash here who is favored to win a tournament against the whole field. Maru can win vs anybody though and might even be favored against anybody.

We may well in fact look back at this year in hindsight saying, "2018 really was Maru's last chance to claim a GSL title", which I've previously stated with some amount of conviction. I may have to go all out, not to mention out of my way to make the flight to Blizzcon if only to tell you how proud I am of you! An autograph and photo with you wouldn't be half bad either Long live the King!

Make sense to you? So you are a smartass now? There are several IEM events every year not just one. The PyeongChang event only allowed 2 Korean qualifiers and the WESG only allowed 3. I just wish there was more corporate sponsorship to the GSL events and as a result more prize money to the players who deserve it. They are the best in the world. KT, SK and Samsung are not funding a team any longer perhaps they could do more.

Unless Blizzard supports some war-chest or whatever, this is what we have And currently we have a Terran micro-machine(pun intended ) with balls of steel. HUGE BALLS MARU!!!

Congratulations you are the new owner Thanks I will do my best Congratulations good luck! Also wow Maru he actually destroyed soO yesterday it was hard to tell whether he was trolling or not doing the 2-1-1 and skipping siegetanks on the 2nd game... It actually seems like he was toying with soO as much as he was the foreigners at WESG. But I wonder if he can beat Classic. He did have really solid pushes against Stats but like a lot of his builds were off of proxies or blind counters. I don't know if the same builds he used vs Stats or sOs will work but if he can beat classic his next biggest opponent is INnoVation which he doesn't have to worry about until the finals (Id say Dark or True are threats but Maru is just too dominant in TvZ)
