Outside of G and H, I don't think he could have 2 more difficult opponents blocking him from advancing. He pretty much never beats Stats and his ZvP has shown very little growth throughout LotV so I don't think he's taking that match at all. Against Rogue he can easily win and eMotion is a bit of a wildcard that might turn out to be a decent upcomer but will likely take last in the group. Then again, ByuL is also a bit of a wildcard. He's been one of the most elusive players in the scene for some time now and definitely the most uncommon of the previous top-tier players. Even as far back as HotS he doesn't participate in much to allow one to lockdown his current form. I mean, just last year he opened 2017 looking like the best Zerg in the world and by the second half looked to be on the verge of retirement. You guys got me quite interested in seeing him play against Rogue now. I miss watching him in proleague, so it will be good to see again. I was wondering if he had retired without me noticing, so I definitely agree with your analysis on him lately. I would love to see him be really good again and win a GSL. Now it barely feels like he's a contender. Excited for round of 32 to begin! | ||
