that seems interesting and I kinda like it.

french cs is about to kill itself. Sometimes players and teams looks to try out new stuff because what they previously did didn't get the desired results, and they think "it can't get any worse." But then you look at North and see that if you constantly remove your best players, then it sure as hell can get worse. The idea that a team can be one of the best teams in the world with 3 bad fraggers is ridiciulous, regardless of how good they are tactically and from a teamcommunication perspective. This french shuffle will challenge the FNS acquisiton for worst move in 2018.
Anyway, one also has to wonder where the hell all the up-and-coming french players are. How come it just doesn't produce any talent at all.

I'm really wary of this FNS stuff. It's really weird. I'd like apEX to find a good team also, french or not. The guy has the right mindset imho, and he has the work ethic.

Well, there's ZywOo that's on the way, and otherwise it's indeed pretty lacking. The last high profile risers were bodyy (which i think need a specific environment to go off), xms who didn't last long (but EnVy was also quite a shitty environment to take your first steps on the international level), and that's pretty much it...
I think hadji could become pretty good, AmaNek and devoduvek as well, but I don't see that happening in the current french ecosystem, unless it gets a major overhaul.
Last weekend there was the Dreamhack France byoc, next to DreamHack Open Tours, and it was quite a fiasco. French LANs have been pretty lacking, both in number and in quality. That sure doesn't help.

Yeh zywoo is insane. When he goes full time he should compete for one of the best AWPers in the world pretty soon or perhaps even one of the best players in the world.
I also think amanek is decent - definitely better than bodyy, but generally speaking it's relatively meh. So on some level I understand the motivation behind the G2 roster because there is very little quality to work with and you don't wanna go back to what didn't work previously. ( but I still think that's a flawed way of thinking).
I would also argue that this is Envyu's opportunity for a comeback. Make a roster of players like amanek, kioshima, apex, nbk, scream, zywoo (when he can join)
Not a roster that can compete for titles, but a huge improvement compared to the current roster - and could possibly be the best french team.

Yeh I guess this is just a sign the popularity of the game in France amongst younger players isn't there. But I don't think we can just blame this on "fortinite" because it's clearly a problem that goes back for the last few years.

No, the main issues are on the organisational side I'd say. CS is still pretty popular in France, *despite* it not getting love from the big players (e.g. the government, PSG esport, etc.). It's just that LAN organizers, while there are still some good ones like those behind Gamers Assembly etc., are pretty lacking. ESWC moved to Clash Royale (lol...), the DreamHack Tours BYOC this year was plagued with drama and issues, etc.

There are tons of problems in every other Danish lan as well. You can look at Copenhagen Games as the highest production quality Lan, and then probably deduct that lower tier lans have a million times more problems.
But lans don't have to be run professionally to foster talent. There just needs to be a scene where it feels rewarding (not neccasarily in a monetary way) to get good.
People get good by playing the game online, and the lan stage is just where you can show off your skill.

What the fuck is wrong with fnatic??? lekr0 has been extremely solid for them wtf. Golden is also going to be replaced i guess.

mir to Gambit for seized
Dosia is their igl now. When Gambit will learn?? what they need is an actual igl, someone like starix would work.

The Cloud9 CSGO squad has decided to designate FNS as inactive. The organization was excited to welcome him to our family and we had high hopes of continuing what we started in Boston earlier this year. In our time together, it became clear that the strategic visions we had were not as compatible as we had initially hoped. After extensive discussions between the players, staff, and front office, all parties have agreed that this is the best course of action.

Sounds like C9 wasted the Stewie money on FNS.

Well, it depends what you mean by "wasted". They're not gonna let him go for free either and if a team wants him, they'll probably have to pull out some bucks as well (though I'd be very surprised it ends up as a profitable move for C9).

After I felt a little better in, I decided to write a few words about my kick. All the time when i be in Gambit nobody sayed about my problems. Because of this, the situation became very unpleasant and shocking for me.
3 days before the tournament, in DH Tours tournament some players said: "your tactics are complex and we want to play easier". There was a feeling that some players took offense at me.
In the tournament after lose AGO, one player said: "I dont want to play in this roster". But he said about roster with me. We conferred and decided to make Captain Mishu [Dosia]. And I had to play in such an atmosphere for two more months.
This became insulting only for two reasons: 1) How I looked to all inside: We did not have a good training recently. I was sure, if we started training then the results would be better. 2) I didnt like what was happening inside the team. I cant to disclose details.
But, I want to say thanks to my ex. teammates. This 4 months was beatiful for me.
My contract with Gambit end in december 2018. In this period of time I will play FaceIt and streaming. Waiting for offers from CIS, EU, NA. Goodbye. seized on his kick from Gambit. They were looking half decent with seized being igl lol. Better pick up mir as we need more firepower.

meh i thought they were fairly bad with seized. Like barely top 20 bad.

They still showed better things and a better progression with him as an IGL than at any other point since Zeus left. They were timidly climbing back at least.
AdreN and hobbit were both way below their usual stuff when either of them was IGLing. hobbit said he doesn't like when dosia is IGLing and that it's not optimal at all (he doesn't really speak nor fire up the team). seized was the only dude they could really let IGL, he's used to it, and they absolutely need AdreN and hobbit to perform because otherwise they're pretty weak in terms of firepower.

in what ways were they climbing?
I think they were better offline in late 2017 and early 2018 than now, and a lot better online back then as well.

I mean, this is probably a very sample size since seized was the IGL, but as soon as he was back in the lead, they had their good run in Marseille, and they were losing only to big names such as Na'Vi or SK. To me it was way more promising than what they showed earlier in the year, which was a mixed bag to me. Each event where hobbit or AdreN were leading ended up with them underperforming massively as well.
I do not weigh much online CS, to me its value has way too much variance for it to be really indicative of anything. You can recount some specific occurences as counter-examples, but exceptions do not make a rule to me.

G2 is officially playing ECS with shox, kennyS, bodyy, Ex6TenZ, and SmithZz.
Quite excited to see them play, even though I don't think this is the lineup that will make france clinch a top 3 spot anytime soon.

shox and kennyS will have to do some heavy lifting. i like the roster though, hope they become successful.
feel like envyus will end up being better if they get maj3r, zywoo and nbk with kioshima and scream staying.

what about apex? Mixwell could also join as I assume his french will get better over time so he soon can communicate fluently.
Envyu's business decisions would make absolutely no sense if they drop out of CSGO now. The roster roster looked terrible on paper and was probably paid close to 15k euro - a salary they didn't deserve at all.
But now they can get a team that on paper could be around 10th. And there is a decent chance of them being the best french team which could win them some more fans.

I thiiiiiink, apex might go to c9 alongside nbk

-Draken +Lekr0
now we know why xzist went to Fnatic but... draken? really? if i have to take a guess, he wanted to leave because he was pretty good, probably didn't wanted to awp?
