If only you still had Stielike as a coach! Every player would play like Cruyff by now!

That's nothing to be ashamed of. Welcome to the club! Personally, I'm not a big fan of these work-football teams like Sweden and Iceland. Just having a fit and strong squad with discipline seems to always give you a decent chance nowadays.

Teams that lost to Sweden I think. Maybe being last in group stages.

Being fit and strong should be the first criteria in any competitive sports. Not sure why you hate them, or would you prefer the diving fest that we've been served by the likes of Neymar?

He didnt say he hates them. He said he wasnt a fan. I somewhat agree, but the reality is where skill and technical ability isnt available then playing this way is the only way to be competitive. This is the evolution of all nearly all sports. Heck even golf has (albeit slower, trended towards that) I dont think being strong is the first criteria but it is important depending on your role. But for most roles I wouldnt sacrifice technical ability for strength. Being fit certainly is a primary criteria but again I wouldnt trade fitness for technical ability beyond a certain benchmark level. Neither is the alternative to fit and strong a diving fest, so thats a bit unfair.

Of course I don't hate them, I never said that. Sweden and Iceland are doing the best they can. But in the WC teams don't reach the same level of synergy, so the physical side of the game is more prominent. Edit: Rebs beat me to it, thanks man.
