Yeah people need to remember who the new Real Madrid boss is, the same guy who has built two teams around Isco because he really likes him. Isco will play a huge part in Real next season. He played 4-3-3 with Isco on left with national team so he could do same again and play Bale on the other side with likes of Vasquez and Asensio ready in the wings as well. James Rodriguez also coming back to Real at the wishes of Lopetegui too so that is another player to use in a 4-3-3. Savic would make sense a bit more but who knows. Real can act really fast.
Courtois also said btw that he will not go anywhere with Eden, so if Eden doesn't go to Real nor will Tibo or if Tibo goes to Real, Eden will want to go as well. However they would net us a cool £250million plus.

Hazard still haven't signed right? So when does he become free?
I mean if he doesn't go for free i doubt Chelski would ask anywhere less than Neymar level.

Hazard deal is up in summer 2020, Tibo deal is up in 2019 summer.

Forget about Hazard or Savic+ Show Spoiler +. Perez will drop 300 mils on PSG for Mbappe. If they manage to bring back James, the team is set for the next 1-2 years until Vinícius, Rodrygo Goes, Odegard etc. are ready for the first team.

Radio COPE: Chelsea closes the door to an Hazard exit. Only an official transfer request from him could change this
Radio COPE is like Tier 2 source, maybe Tier 1 and posted this today.

it's been a wild ride boys...
looking forward to the August transfer ...
Mbappe will break 220m

M'bappé isn't going anywhere, Neymar either. They didn't even let Verratti go for a good sum and he's far from having the marketing potential those other 2 have.

what about the 26m€ "barca bonus" clause of neymar? case solved? I heard something that FIFA is looking into it but that's all I know.

Messi, Ronaldo eat your heart out.

To be fair Pique had won everything by 25ish aswell. (It think like 2x less CL's) but then he won Euro. So I would say really only some of the Spanish Barca players could claim to have completed football.
But yeah remember when people were like "Varane only gets to stay cuz of Zidane" but turns out hes actually a real defender that has to play next to Ramos.

really excited for jesus vallejo - he has the potential to replace ramos once he's done. varane/vallejo cb pairing for the next decade if it works out. also i think he's favored by lotepgui due to him being in his u-21 teams.

I think Ngolo Kante might have become the most universally loved player in the world you can't hate him, it's impossible
that song he has is top tier lol

I think Varane was put under the spotlight a bit too early for his own good. I mean he's only 25 now and I swear to god I've heard about him as the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ for the past 3 years at the very least. The key difference between being a defender as opposed to an attacker, especially in the central defender role, is that you peak much later because your success is built on experience. As a winger, or even full back, if you make a mistake or have an off game every now and then it's much more forgivable because they don't usually result in your team conceding/losing the match.

Do you think any interesting trades are going to happen due to World Cup performances?
I could see Vida being sold to somewhere bigger than Besiktas. Pavard had his moments and is only 22, so he's probably a future prospect for some bigger teams.
I can't come up with anything else right off the top of my head. I think most of the bigger performaces were by the usual suspects or at least players already secured by bigger teams.

I'd think Inui will be sold to a bigger club than Betis. But I haven't heard any buzz about it.
RM is flirting with Hazard and Mbappe, but whether anything will materialize. Who knows. Then again, these aren't exactly revelations of the WC: these players were already known talents, they just played as well at the WC as they do for their club every week.
Milinkovic-Savic is being talked about by the English papers, that would almost certainly be based on his WC performance.
I'm a bit surprised there's nobody making a run on all the Tottenham and Leicester players. Trippier and Maguire had a fantastic worldcup, as did some others. I guess it's just because the PL is always swimming in cash, so buying English players is always more effort than it's worth?
I could see Meunier getting a transfer upwards too, because he doesn't seem to be very happy at PSG anyway.

Meunier was linked with Chelsea last summer and again in January and seemed to not materlize, he also seemed to want to "stay and fight" for his place in PSG too. Strange, he should be playing week in week out, however Dani Alves is a lot older now, maybe he will get more game time next season anyway.

Henry quit his pundit job to focus on managerial career. That could get interesting in a few years. I wonder if Arsenal already have his number on a speed dial.
