Assuming the d stays they have a group of Karla son hedman mcdonagh stralman sergachev girardi and cobur. Those top 5 are insane. Only Nashville would even be close. I wonder what they’re giving up

Montreal’s moves over the last few years are baffling. I don’t know why bergevin still has his job.

They need to blow up the entire organisation and to start over. Starting with the GM. The worse part is that moving Price(if he keeps his performance from last year) and Weber is nearly impossible, so they are stuck with them.

Edit: Why the fuck does anyone trade with Doug Wilson? The guy routinely commits grand larceny.

Yeah, this Sharks roster should be good enough to make a cup run. They're very clearly going all in right now. I wouldn't be surprised if they make another trade to add a top-6 forward at the trade deadline. As of now, their lineup is going to look something like this: Kane-Thornton-Pavelski Couture-Hertl-Donskoi Lebanc-Goodrow-Meier Sorensen-Gambrell-Melker Vlasic - Karlsson Burns - Braun Ryan - Dillon Thornton may very well start the season on the third line to conserve him for the playoffs and to add more scoring depth. The key will be for the young guys (Hertl, Lebanc, and Meier) to really step up and pick up the slack from Thornton and Pavelski, who are both on the decline.

And they are in the "easier" division in the west. I also think Jones has been pretty solid for them so I don't think Tending will be a big Achilles heal.
