There are two possible scenarios: a) The guy has no idea what ticket is going to win. The ticket has almost certainly an expected value of less than 100$. You win. b) The guy is a time traveller, or has visions and has future information. If i don't sell him the ticket, he is probably gonna murder me and/or rob my house for the ticket. Selling is the better decision. | ||

Depends when you buy it. If the odds are 1 in 303 million and prize is 1.6 bill which will net you a over 900 million after tax. It is technically a good, albeit crazy high risk investment. | ||
