Lol korean elitist still finding funny excuses and it won't finish even after he beats Stats. I guess he has to beat that player who got dumpstered 3-0 by the weakest ro8 player. Maybe next tournament, if he gets to the final..

You know, it's okay to think Several is merely "really good" without all the superlatives. That's not being a hater or an elitist.
Even if you consider that the Korean scene is at its worst in 15 years right now, Serral's achievements are historic and matched by no other foreigner. That deserves a little more hype than just "really good" even though Bonjwa sounds exaggerated to me too.

more like really sad that kespa at it height couldn't challenge serral
Serral got really good during 2017-18, he would just get murdered during kespa era
Are you rodya's alt?
? Look at serral's history, he was nothing worthy of note during his early years. Certainly no Flash/Life
His history has just started.
If I remember correctly, Serral was actually prophesied to become a star player way, way back when it was fair to call him a kid. It's just pretty uncommon to see those predictions come true, especially like this

merely "really good". Lol TL korean elitists are some of the weirdest people I voluntarily deal with. I swear if Serral was born in SK and came up through some Kespa team you would worship this guy to no end. Look at the disbelief in Rogues face at the end of game 4. The formerly best macro Zerg in the world just played his heart out and he felt helpless.

Because we don't see lategame ZvZ very often in professional play, it is easy to see that Serral was winning the entire game. When you have a bank in lategame, having less workers is an advantage due to the bigger army supply and the bank to keep max. Combine that with the fact that Serral trades so efficiently and lost less Vipers in each engagement. He just had to wait for Rogue to dry his gas bank out.
Serral is just soooo smart in late game.
He was behing in eco from the middle game 20 workers behind for 10+ min did nothing but defend with his army advantage still won ....
Workers don't matter that much, gas and cost efficiency matter the most.
This was a long death animation for Rogue kinda like his game vs TY on the same map imho
Not at all. He was way behind vs TY, and did amazingly to stay in the game for that long. This was something entirely different. He expanded, faster, had more workers, was attacking serral from all sides (insane multitasking), he just made a mistake of not mining gas when he could and Serral just had slightly better micro in their engagements. Rogue could have won this game for sure, but against Serral, you cant make any mistake

We can't really compare, he was not a full time pro nor was totally dedicated to the game nor had his declic. Those two are very special prodigies anyway.

Reynor vs Serral will be amazing in 2019... hopefully.

Serral didn't play even slightly close to this level back then. And If Serral played like in Montreal he would have had big trouble getting past Dark. And I say that as a Reynor fan
