So rocked to his core was Ziggy in his belief of Carariyo(Karariyo?) that I’ve been tasked to takeover for the finals but before we get to that lets go over what went down in the Semifinal match between Carariyo and LOGINmedia.
Captain Snow opened up for Carariyo against Rush and he manhandled him for a solid victory with an assist from Rush himself with the level of play he brought in that set. However this would be the only victory that Carariyo was going to see for the day as following that we got the 1-2 punch of LOGIN’s Big guns of MIsO and ZerO taking big wins against Shuttle and BeSt respectively, MIsO has done a great job thus far in the league managing to become the #2 guy to be relied on in the team, his game against Shuttle while not perfect, with some horrendous engagements but overall had a good showing with his army positioning and scouting before battles. Of course ZerO much like the back to back ASL champion that he is continued his dominant ASTL run with his win over BeSt if you want to see ZvP done right from Zerg go out of your way to watch ZerO’s games, even better go watch his stream, hes one of the few that also streams on twitch, no reason not to watch him.
Stork’s game against JyJ can be construed as Stork showing his veteran poise by managing to keep playing greedy and denying JyJ enough information for him to respond to the eventual assault from the carrier armada. The final game of the series saw Rush manage to redeem himself against BeSt managing to beat him with good harass and a solid final death push to seal the series 4-1.
28/02, 1700KST: LOGINmedia vs eSport.Fund
By the time the regular season finished it became clear that eSport.fund vs LOGINmedia was going to be the most likely finals and it shows with the fact that between both teams we have 5 of the top 10 best players in the league in terms of individual performances.
It is interesting to note that Flash has been dealing with issues involving his wrists again, taking a break from streaming to recover, its very likely hes not going to be at his best, but that doesn’t make him any less dangerous and ZerO would still be the best option as an opponent to take him down, or maybe throw stork in as an anti-sniper with ZerO getting an almost guaranteed win against Action/Soulkey/free although, Stork could be used to take out Action again like in their previous encounter, its very likely he’d want to avoid Soulkey though.
MIsO’s best opponent would be Soulkey, since his ZvZ is far superior to that of Soulkey’s, free would also be a good shout but given their last encounter resulted in a loss its likely he doesn’t want to repeat that performance.
Rush has a fair shot against both free and Soulkey, with his performance in the previous round Rush has proven that when he manages to gain control in a TvP hes proven to be able to keep it and snowball it into victory and hes managed to beat Soulkey in their last encounter during the regular season, Action being on a roll right now puts him in a dangerous position for anyone to be against him and that includes ZerO.
This series has potential to go all the way to game 7 but its unlikely that it will happen, its more probable that the first team to score back to back wins will be able to snowball the rest of the series and its more likely for eSport.fund to pull that off with its 3 heavy hitters of Flash, Action and Soulkey but good captaincy from ZerO’s team could result in managing to get a good lineup setup for them to get the wins.
eSport.Fund to win ASTL Season 2!
