It's Protoss (no seriously, I'm not saying this as a joke)
Stork pulled out his razors and incision tools and conducted a surgery on Fantasy. That was one sick PvT there!
how many gates did stork have in his base?
wow, this was the most exciting game i ever saw!!!

Because when you left, Brood War was all spotlights and titans. Now, with the death of the big leagues, Brood War has moved to the basements and carparks. Now, Brood War is unlicensed brawls, lost teeth, and bloody fights for fistfulls of money - SirJolt

Having your team sponsor all over your opponent's both gives an imba advantage.
lol, when Fantasy is nervous he swallows so visibly. It's like Flash's eye-twitch.

bunker+ marines+ 3-4 scvs not mining is a greater cost than 400 minerals
i think 12 nex might be becoming standard on long rush distance maps
hell, fantasy even built his racks outside his base almost in preparation for 12 nex
don't count the marines, since most of the time you make those anyway :pOn August 26 2009 20:18 dl2agon wrote: Show nested quote + On August 26 2009 20:17 SilverSkyLark wrote: On August 26 2009 20:14 Carnac wrote: wtf how did fantasy lose that after shutting down the fast nexus so easily and stork losing so many goons

Stork also ninjaed an expansion, while delaying Fantasy's. probe/scv kill were about even on both sides. Overall, he was never behind economically. As for 12 Nex, Stork almost always use it when he doesn't practice.
Stork took advantage of Fantasy's build. While Fantasy might be able to harass well with DS and speed/mine vults, he will have to either choose between army or expos. Fantasy chose to expo to 10 instead of adding facts, so he was on 3 facts with 1 add-on while Stork had 4 gates with 3 more warping. Furthermore, Stork made the right decision by attacking 10, knowing that had he given that base uncontested that Fantasy will just add facts and overwhelm him. He microed well, sending in 2 zeals and pulling goons just beyond tank's range and stopping any vults from going in. That effectively shut down for 10 for some time, and killed 6~ scvs, while Stork had enough time to get more gates, add cannons, and most importantly, take 8. Now it was the position that toss wants in PvT: ahead in base count, with equal or more production facilities. From then, Stork defended the push, albeit quite poorly, with his strong eco and won. (+ good harass at 10 dropping temps and shutting down minonly).
