We have created an irc channel (#tl-smash on Quakenet) for people to find others to play with on Dolphin or just to chat about Smash. Feel free to join!
Active: Haven't been active since 2005-6ish (to give you an idea, m2k was still a noobie that I could beat back then). As a smasher I was previously known as nevake and mostly only played when MLG Dallas came or with the other North Texans/Houston people. I still play for fun though; my falcon skill hasn't deteriorated much. I also play a lot of BtT.
Location: Right now, Waco, Texas.
Mmm think that was a bit earlier than that. It was funny when mew2king was just a nolifer who did the whole ssbm stats info with like 100 pages all by himself, and bragged about being able to short hop laser with falco. Then I guess he decided to become good and in 2006 he already rocked, and 2007 was unbeatable.
lol I remember when everybody bashed on M2K all the time. Specifically the Newlyweds (I think?)... then he started raping shit up

Yeah, he always was quite braggy and talked about how good he was etc. He then very quickly started to get 3. - 7. place in like every tournament with his Fox, but never really won anything big until he started to play as Marth, which was when he really started to dominate everything for over a year.
Yea as I was leaving, m2k and kdj were getting consistently high results in tournaments but never top. M2k used to go to those biweeklys in NJ and NY and he was pretty terrible...He used to be a super nerd who had all the frame information for everything (pretty useful actually), but then he started raping.
Hmm, does anyone have any tips or such about what to do against this player? Marth vs Fox. I never manage to beat him. For some idea about his recent skill level:
By the way guys, if you want me to post your name on the first post can you please post it in the format:

yeah theres a lot of shit you can do with marth against fox.
basically just work on your grab game... i can go into more detail if you want lol. heres a good start though. for chaingrabbing you just up throw and grab him out of the air until about 33%. once there if he DIs away you can uptilt into regrab. If he doesnt DI away you can weak up tilt up twice and go from there. Also if he DIs away in about the 45-55% range from your upthrow you can get a tipper fsmash.
basically just copy m2k. he has an amazing v fox game
Capitalize your grabs into gimps more often and anyone cheering for the Fox will be like, "Oh no!" I also think you could stand to incorporate wavedash out of shield into your game. I noticed in other vids of M2K in this matchup he'll get these random-ass fsmashes after wavedash out of shield. But ya, gimps and edge guarding. Make Fox panic when he's off the edge.

SmashCraft Heroes at Princeton last year was big in the creation of CSL. This year, SCH is doing something similar with smash with an Intercollegiate Smash Invitational:
