Konadora has done many translations, a few news articles and even a final edit or two. He streams games and has made many threads for live reporting in the tourneys and leagues section. His star is well deserved. Who are you? Greeny K has done many great post, a few spam responses and even a +1or 2. He doesn't stream games and hasn't made any threads for live reporting in the tourneys and leagues section, which clearly explains why he doesn't have a well-deserved star. You have more posts than I do in a shorter period. Does that mean you have the authority to critique others about their posting qualms? Who are you?

The veterancy system would be based on points as a summation of the number of "likes" and the number of replies in threads of which that user is OP and number of views. Obviously, likes would be weighted more than replies which would be weighted more than # of views. But then again... nobody cares what I think about this issue, since I'm just a lurker

There are so many threads that are crappy, but then despite the commandments people post in the thread something like "0/5. This sucks." At which point, the thread floats back to the sidebar and I'm like -__-. I honestly do not trust tl as a whole to create any kind of a system that uses ratings to accomplish anything.

Well just a like/dislike not a 1-5 rating system as that will cause people to only vote 1 or 5 pretty much for everything. Thumbs up or Thumbs down would work out fine as you don't need to make too much of an effort to give an accurate rating. People who make shitty posts will care about ratings, until they get rated as shit then they will stop caring and become all jaded.

He's saying that basically everyone just either Likes(5)/Dislikes(1)... and TL being the community it is, it has a lot of fellow posters that will be dicks and just put Dislikes for no apparent reason. Meaning your veteran status (or anything you do) has gone down the shitter and you're screwed.
