Sorry but Djwheat/slasher and their whole show has never really covered SC much, or accurately. I don't see why now that SC2 is coming out and it actually is gonna be $$$ attached all the sudden they get featured/promoted on teamliquid.net. I thought this was a SC site, not a site for some people to advertise their podcast which is 99% not SC related. You're gonna hate it when the TSL2 winner comes on the show next week. May as well not tune in. Thanks for everyone for tuning in! Details about next week's show soon.

It just didnt make any sense, no one comes here to watch quake, the SC2 streams get more viewers in general than your show. No one comes on teamliquid and says "Lets check those streams maybe some quake or random gaming talk is on". It would be like if sherdog.com (mma site) just randomly had Day 9 Daily on the front page. I have nothing againt your shows it just really isnt in general sc or teamliquid.net related. I'm sure though you guys will bandwagon jump right on SC2 along with every other "esports" person and company and completely mismanage/misrepresent it. I've seen your fighting game coverage and ive heard DJwheat casting SC games.. (or basically just handling transitions and filler). We have way better and knowledgable casters/commentators/interviewers in the community.

They're trying to branch out and get a few followers everywhere since they're not popular at all in any single place. ESR would be happy if you took them off of our hands. =(

Wheat, Slasher and Scoots have done a great job. For crying out loud it's just a damn podcast. If you don't like it don't watch it. They have never taken advantage of any community up until this day and I've followed them around in all of them pretty much and every time they do something like shout-cast a match or do interviews they deliver so why is the punk from ESR whining? ESR is a terrible, terrible site to begin with. The community is one of the worst around and only gets surpassed by GotFrag in stupidity levels. Jumping on the SC2 band-wagon... Please, oh god, please don't let this turn out like the SRK deal. I'm pretty sure it won't considering that TL head-admins are way smarter than those of SRK but still if people start crying every time someone new tries to get involved with SC2 this is going to bring down the level of awesomeness of TL by a lot. Expect stupid questions and noob users in the upcoming months and flocks of them once SC2 finally hits. That's how the internet works and the price you have to pay for having a big community based around a game. And why is Lo3 a featured stream? Why not? After all they have done several interviews with SC personalities and let me remind you that Scoots is part of EG and EG has a SC squad, and a pretty good one at that too. So no, they are not jumping on the SC2 band-wagon because they have been in the SC band-wagon for quite some time now. The post is not even in the General Forums. People advertise freaking Chess streams in the S&G Forums so why not Quake? If you ask me I would appreciate if God took you two idiots of OUR hands >.< Also, as everyone has already posted: Pretty crazy matches, and I loved the Valle piece. I follow him on twitter and I was hesitant to start digging around his new Level|Up project but now I really wish him luck and hope it gets big. It's nice to see that he has the right idea and that the FGC is backing him on this. He's a legend and like he said no matter what Valle does people are going to follow him. On another note the epicness of the Valentine-Day Break-Up Show cannot be put into words. I followed GGL for a long time when you and Carmac where a part of it and even back then I was always dumbfounded by the HHGL and all the other crazy stuff. To be honest at first I thought that those widgets were adverts and stuff until they posted actual news about 'em lol :p Sad to see them go down (kinda) like that. But after all they were offering $10,000 prize pots for WarHawk, Army of Two and Cobat Aces 6, EACH so I mean... This was bound to happen sooner or later. Looking forward to the Mondragon interview :D *fingers-crossed*

I thought this was a SC site, not a site for some people to advertise their podcast which is 99% not SC related. This is a totally unfair statement. 1st off. There's money in SC1? If we were so fucking motivated by money, why wouldn't we have jumped on this bandwagon. I think many people here will tell you although I never got into SC as much as others, I've always been a big supporter of it. SC2 is very similar to SF4, with it's release, there will be alot of new players. And I think it's important for the growth of pro-gaming as a whole to help those individuals out. We have always given a healthy nod to SC, and I want to personally thank Kennigit for inviting us to be a stream on TL, and those who have supported us. We only hope we can do MORE for the StarCraft community on shows like Live On Three... it's always been our intention of exposing people to EVERY aspect of pro-gaming... and not be a one stop shop for a single game. Sure our background is mostly in Quake, CS, etc... but are you going to push away every person who comes here that gets excited for the upcoming game? Or are you going to embrace them and make the SC community even bigger?

Grass roots movements like TL (and what wheat does) don't get a lot of external support without selling out. A lot of people on TL like LiveOn3, Call and Brawl and Epileptic Gaming but often forget to watch. At the same time, wheat and slasher have been letting people know about the TSL who normally wouldn't hear about it in their own communities. We are just some nerds scratching each other's backs. If you think he's trying to "cash in" then you clearly have no idea about wheat, or his history. He's basically the only person in the entire E-Sports industry that id support doing this for. If you really find it that offensive, i suppose you can just not click it .

I thought this was a SC site, not a site for some people to advertise their podcast which is 99% not SC related. I started in the quake scene and migrated to SC once quake 3 died down. Well i have been following djwheat for like a decade now and he's an awesome guy. There is no way that guy is money motivated, Djwheat has been an awesome contributer to the esports community. What's wrong in trying to cover sc2? Yeah he may not be the most experienced, he started covering Quake 3, but after some coverage for blizzard he went more into SC. You have to remember that this is GOOD for the SC community. Many people of different gaming scenes watch his show obviously promoting SC will benefit TL. I personally enjoyed the link to the stream, I haven't watched a good quake game in a long time. It brought back great memories. And like others said, if you don't like don't watch it. The TL community isn't just consisted of SC puritists, the come from all different backgrounds. People like me actually enjoy a convienient link to his show. It's not like there are news posts about other games.

Djwheat has been there since the dawn of Q3.... back in the CPL days all the way to now. Casting a bazillion matches and being in top clans like 519. My friend Pangu used to play on negative influence during that CTF era and djwheat was in some of his teams, though not ranked up there, he was definately a bolster to the community, I remember seeing him and was like...wow that guy is a celebrity and he's on the same team as pan? What the hell are you saying he's not welcome in the quake community.

Even teamliquid.net makes fun of ansadi/all the hokey people trying to get into "esports" for SC2. the fact is that teamliquid.net can cover it far better, and have much better podcasts/commentators/speakers. I was just upset that now that the site is more active than ever, there was a featured stream with Quake 3 at the top of the list. Anyway now that his Stream has [misc] on it, I don't really have a problem with it so carry on. I remember a few days ago I clicked on it.. and was listening to it for a bit and it was just people like talking about random gaming crap like consoles and reviews. Gave it like 10 min then I realized it had nothing to do with starcraft and wasn't going to anytime soon.

People always feel and act like [insert not Starcraft 1/2 game here] will somehow ruin SC/BW/SC2 and/or TL.net which is inherently flawed (say thank you to the admins/forum staff). Has it ever crossed people's minds that TL.net is it's own community (independent of the games) and that's what makes it special after so many years? At this point I don't even immediately think of SC/BW in regards TL and I suspect that is case for many others as well.
