Why would they give a damn about your system specs then?
Hmmm lets see. Give key to retard WoW noobs (my friends) who don't like RTS, and leave out hardcore RTS player (me). Makes sense!

Seriously fuck you blizzard.
Out of my 10+ vent friends who all have blizzard accounts TWO people got it, and here's the actual specs no bullshit of his laptop
# Operating system:Windows 2.6.1.7600 () # CPU type:Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T5200 @ 1.60GHz # CPU Speed (GHz):1.62 # System memory (GB):0.998 # Graphics card model:ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 # Graphics card driver:atiumdag.dll # Desktop resolution:1440x900 # Hard disk size (GB)4.52 # Hard disk free space (GB):5.456
Fuck that shit, he can't even run it
Edit:
SERIOUSLY WTF. Why would you give someone with those specs beta. My other friend who has it can barely run it too. On the other hand everyone else has systems ranging from mid to high-enthusiast and no dice.

Well, the slight glimmer of hope in the horizon is that the wave is not over... it's not over yet (or so I keep telling myself with my big bucket of ice-cream to comfort me... it agrees with me)...

Yes it does. The "hardcore RTS player" has probably already seen how the new mechanics of the game work. Blizzard needs data on whether people consider them fun, interesting, and intuitive. And for someone who already knows about them and has already formed an opinion before they even started playing, that data's not that helpful.
Are the inexperienced people worthless for tuning balance? Yes. But that doesn't mean they're worthless for the beta process as a whole.

A friend of mine just got in. I just ran the fuck over to his house.

of course it makes sense^^; it's a random database search.. or at least semi-random. And Blizzard isn't designing this game ONLY for hardcore RTS players, I'm sure they want the retard WoW noobs's opinions as well.

Newsflash: Computer specs don't matter at all.

Someone I know just found their blizzcon card and typed it 2 days ago what are the chances of them receiving the key now ?

It doesn't help when they play 5 games, get steamrolled, and ragequit never to play again.

A question btw: How do these rank system work? I mean at start you choose newcomer, beginner, veteran etc. Do these matter in the long run? And can you change it if your unsure? (You realize you suck too much to play with these people or the opposite - you realize your better then these clowns and want to play with the big boys.)

I consider even one of them doing it a complete travesty because that could have been my beta spot instead. D:
In case you can't tell I'm a very "me"-oriented person.

Yes, but the thing is, they don't count the total number of keys handed out when they determine each wave. They look at the server activity. Every WoW player that ragequits is another spot that opens up in the next wave.
