I checked again. Out of my 11 BNet accounts, 10 got a beta key.
The 10 accounts that only had one game on them and were registered a week or two ago all got it. However, my old account that has every single Blizzard title in existance (for PC) on it and registered the very first day you could, didn't get it.
Seems like it was better to register late and have few games on the account (which is just silly). I suppose Blizzard wants to introduce new players to the game instead of the vivid fans.
Ah well, off to selling the last remaining accounts.

the key distribution is such a bullshit... who cares about spec... be loyal to your fans should be 1. but i guess, i am wrong -_-

For some reason I don't believe this post that you just got 10 beta keys.

He's got only 5 posts and he's trying to sell accounts, just be careful guys.

i always thought they record mac and ip adress for a reason. i thought multiple account would threrefore not increase your chances, but totally destroy them.
now look at how fucked i and many other honest players are.
seriously, wtf blizzard ...

That's what it does, but you can still opt in on different computers

My troll-dar is beeping.

I'm starting to assume that maybe having my fiance opt-in on her laptop might have ruined my chance to get in, even though I entered my blizzcon code. 3 "waves" of invites and I have yet to get in.
Has anyone opted in from multiple computers in the same house and had one get in? Semms like something is going wrong here...

Ah well, off to selling the last remaining accounts. For some reason I don't believe this post that you just got 10 beta keys. Very unlikely as Blizzard gathers IP and Mac Addresses and I don't see a reason for them to do if they aren't going to use them, unless this guy used multiple computers. Still I don't see how anyone could be lucky enough to hit such a low chance 10 times out of 11.
And its pretty much killing me to know that the guy is selling them when he is not in any way entitled to having 10 in the fucking first place, get some manners and hold contests for those keys. -_-
5 posts and joined 2003 too, wtf.

Will a blue posted on the bnet forums (have to rush this so can't get the link) and it sounds to me like wave 2 is over. Some guy posted a thread with "any eta on when wave 3 starts"?
The response was "no so please don't ask ". Sounds like we're in for a wait till the games released .

That post could be interpreted in a thousand ways. When I first read that I thought Xordiah meant that they simply aren't going to tell us when Wave 3 is, which is only natural given that they bought themselves a shitposting festival by letting slip that Wave 2 would be within 2 weeks of Feb 19.

Fastest growing thread ever?

Come on man! Don't go all emo on us just because you can't read! No ETA (=estimated time of arrival) is not the same as NO WAVES ever again. Just chill.

What sense does that make if they only let hardcore sc players into the beta? They want to see how noobs and casuals adjust to the game and what they can do to "make it better". And I'm sure all of the people who aren't sc fans are thoroughly enjoying their beta key
