This happens every tournament. Like I said in a previous post, I wanted the tournament to be at least 64 players, possibly even 128, but beta is coming to a close, and with the format I was choosing to do the tournament would not fit in the time remaining. But, I also was really wanting to organize one more tournament before the beta goes down, so I was forced to drop it to 32. Thus preventing me from allowing all these upcoming players to participate, because I had only 16 applicant spots to fill. Once Starcraft is actually released I plan to run a lot more tournaments, and have already setting aside money for a few big tournaments, in which I'll have an unlimited amount of time to work with, so more players will get a chance to enter. I just don't think he's used to the competition or maybe he's always been like that but its so much harder to get noticed in sc2 (when your actually good I am saying as well) .

Only person to beat me at cnc was pillars and he's from scbw. You guys really need to find a way to let in more of the new players who have proven themselves to be better than several of the invited players. This happens every tournament. craft cup and gosucoaching and zotac are all mass invite tourneys... make a name there? i duno!

Lickitung Yeah, I get that, and apologize if I was sounding a little dickish. I can just imagine it's frustrating for some of these players trying to break through. Anyways, thanks for running this shit lickitung. It's good stuff.

It's really not that hard to get noticed. I came into sc2 knowing no one. The formula for getting noticed is simple .. be good. There are many tournaments that anyone can enter aswell as performing well in ladder.
