The 'bandwagoners' aren't surprising. What is surprising is that it's only a 10% swing to Flash. But 55-45 is still decent. There are simply many JD fans who don't wish to admit that Flash is the number one player atm (forget the B word - it's not important).

There are already a bunch of bandwagoners already on Flash's side so those wouldn't have been accounted for with these polls.

I enjoy watching Jaedong far more because zergs are more fun to watch. Terrans/Flash are slow and methodical, and imo, kinda boring.

The poll is worded vaguely and I choose to not interpret it as who I think is better or anything. I personally thought Flash should have been the favorite to win the MSL even after he lost to Effort.

Seeing as the first poll was days before the final I thought it was clearly not "who do you like more" or else it would have simply stated that. Asking 'If you had to choose' days out from a final that most people consider will be closely fought between the number one and number two in the world implies to me at least Who Do You Think Is Going To Win. I voted for jaedong in this poll. Flash is the number one player atm and has been since ~December 2009 imo. There are more of us than those who choose not to admit it. To me, "if you had to choose now?" is simply asking for preference and not who the better player is. Looking at how close this poll is, I speculate that many have interpreted the question in the same way.

Poll doesn't specify that it's who you prefer, so for those who aren't die-hard Jaedong fans, ie they don't prefer him regardless of rankings, so for those voting who they think is better, the ranking heavily supports the notion that Flash is better than Jaedong at this point.

Voted Jaedong twice; Flash is clearly a better player lately but Jaedong's style is much more entertaining to me for some reason. That said, I really cannot believe anyone is arguing that Flash is not bonjwa. He's made it by every metric you could expect of a bonjwa during this time period. I think we should have been thinking about the B-word well beforehand, but there shouldn't have been any doubt once we knew he would final in two starleagues for the second time in a row. For instance, that someone said "he needed to win OSL" before he could be bonjwa apparently forgot that he's the first player ever to finals for two starleagues twice in a row at all. Boxer couldn't do it, Nada couldn't do it, but Flash did it. In the past few months Flash personally won the Winners League, set all-time win streaks against two races, and laid waste to nearly everything that appeared before his eyes in comical fashion. 78% win rate since Jan 1st with 89 games played (almost a game every other day)? Are you fucking kidding me? Perspective: at this point in 2004, iloveoov was at 68% for the year, his best 6-month performance of his career, and in a much much less competitive environment, and fewer games played. If that's not a bonjwa, nothing is. I'm a Jaedong fan up one side and down the other, but Flash is bonjwa if anyone ever was. There's hardly anything he could have accomplished in the last year that he hasn't. You don't have to be a fanboy to know that.
