Shine: "I was confident in my Build"
How does it feel to win?
Last time, I was the first one out and I had lost. So I prepared even harder for this time. However, I wasn't feeling too well yesterday because of a cold. I was practicing in front of the practice room computer and I think I just clicked around thoughtlessly (laugh). I expected a Protoss and Zerg, and I only planned a build against a Terran. I thought it would be a difficult match but my build performed better than expected.
Leta is one of the players strong against WeMade
I didn't practice against Terran that much so I was worried when I heard Leta was playing. However, I was confident in my build. I played with confidence.
What is the source of your confidence on your build?
There are many cases when they block their natural entrance and play. So I wanted to pressure with Hydras and quickly transition into Mutalisks. The timing only worked when I did 3 Hatcheries before a Spawning Pool.
So you were lacking practice?
The cold didn't do great things for me so I lacked practice. So I just drew the big picture and didn't get to think through the details.
Did you expect three Starports?
I didn't think that far ahead. But my opponent just came with two Wraiths and caught my Overlord. So I thought he built a Starport after getting his Natural. But he didn't get the Overlord at 12 o clock, so I think that became an opportunity. If it wasn't for that Overlord, I would have been swept around by Wraiths.
While you're 5th place, you're still not in a safe position.
If you look at the Proleague rankings, we're in a position we could fall the moment we make a mistake. However it's also a position where we can climb up. Every match is important. I felt a lot of responsibility so I felt sorry that I had lost my last match. I was determined to not have a losing streak, so I tried even harder.
Anything else you want to add?
I'm thankful to the entire team for helping me.

Baby: "I think I'd be cool if I had a ten game winning streak"
You have succeeded in a seven game winning streak.
While I'm satisfied with my current win streak, I do want to go over 10 games. I think it'd be cool if you have that kind of winning streak (laugh).
This is your longest winning streak since your debut.
When I won recently, a reporter told me my longest winning streak was six. So I wanted to win today to set a record. So I was able to play a little harder.
You have continually dueled against aces.
I don't want to let my guard down whoever I play. Horang2 is also a good player. Because it was an important match, I only thought of winning.
Your multitasking skills are noticeable.
Everyone around me has been telling me that my hands are extremely fast. But my head doesn't spin that fast. I need to practice so my hands are fast and my brain spins well. If I can do that I will be able to play even better.
Did you do special practice for your multitasking?
My hands were always fast but when there are cases where I would freeze when playing in a broadcast. But now I've gotten used to it and now my hands are just as fast as they are in practice.
You received praise such as "If you're talking about Speed, Baby is the best".
It's still a little awkward. I want to hear that after I win more games.
You get to skip the upcoming Starleague qualifiers.
When I see hyungs practicing for qualifiers or watching broadcasts, I think of a warzone. I hope I do well on both leagues this season so I don't have to go through the qualifiers (laugh).
While you did well on last season's personal leagues, aren't you a bit disappointed?
Since this was my first personal league, it was a bit unfamiliar and I was very nervous. This is my second try. I'm confident that I can perform better. I will do my best to reach my goals.
Anything else you want to add?
I want to thank everyone who helped me practice. A few days ago, general manager of Korean Airlines Cho Hyun Min and a few workers came today and gave us hongsam and other nutritious food. I was able to win because of that today. I believe our team will do well on the upcoming qualifiers on the 11th. I want to thank them.

Midas: "I first used this build in 2004"
You used the build you failed last time with and won.
I decided the biggest reason was location. I just didn't want to switch my build. It's a good build... (laugh). So I decided I was going to use it today once more time.
If you spawned diagonally again today?
Then I'd just be unlucky (laugh). I was lucky today. It was 2 out of 3, so I thought it was worth trying twice. If my opponent did a Spawning Pool first, it's even easier. Today I thought he wouldn't have speed up, but I thought wrong and almost lost because of that. I was a bit lucky. But I always think I am lucky whenever I win.
Your opponent got into your base when your forces weren't there.
My heart sunk. My Marines were out and I saw the Zerglings get in very late. The two sided attack was also very scary. But my opponent made mistakes, and when my Marine forces combined I had an advantage.
Can you use your build again?
I think I used this build about 10 times when I was a progamer. I used it against Protoss once too. I first used this build in 2004. It's a really old build. It's a build that I will use in the future if I want to use it. It's a build I use when I get the feeling.
The Starleague Qualifiers are coming soon.
I think I will be able to qualify. I hope I can qualify. Today in the dressing room, I saw two of the Stargirls, and it's been such a long time since I've seen them. I wish I saw them often. In the end I'm saying I want to qualify for the starleague. I didn't say hi because I didn't think they'd even know me (laugh). Since I'm seeded in the MSL, I wish I can rise in both starleagues.
What do you think of your Qualifier group?
It's a group where I will qualify if I play well and fail if I play badly. I didn't get to practice much because of Proleague. I practiced whenever I had time but I didn't get to concentrate. I will concentrate on it starting today.
Is there anything else you want to add?
I was in a two game losing streak so it would have been really bad if I lost today. I'm relieved I won today. I think we can make it to the post season. With our effort, no matter what.
