CARRIER HAS ARRIVED!
sorry, couldnt resist
Honestly though, wouldnt be surprised at all if it was some kind of viral vid promo for a new film
EDIT: So i just done some reading about this, and the purported linked "project blue beam" that proposes a new world order under one government with abolished relegion and everyone in a "cult of man".
WHAT A CROCK OF SHIT.....
seriously, out of the 94 billion-trillion-zillion stars, why would another form of intelligent life choose to come to this back-water system, im a firm believer that there is a race maybe similar to the protoss or zerg out there.
The numbers speak for them selves, its not possible were the only rock out of an infinte number that supports life, how ever i do find it quite astronomical that if there was such a race, they'd find us before they found something else.
truth is, if there is ET's capable of transversing massive area's of space that we cant even probe to tell if theres life, then their technology already puts us at their mercy without a chance in hell

Until we are actually being slaughtered by laser beams from the sky, I'm just going to assume that all UFO sightings are false alarms and/or hoaxes.

We should never take anything like this with any grain of salt since you know, it's 100% completely impossible for there to be anything out there and it's all a hoax 100% and is not worth our time.

Why is it always people with cameras from the 1980s who see UFOs. Stop jerking the camera like you're on a horseback and focus on the sky, there are UFOs there! Give it to me in 1080p next time, with steady camerawork and we can talk.

I don't see how people go from "there's something strange in the sky" to "it must be aliens". It seems much more likely that's it's something more mundane like a (previously unknown) weather phenomenon, or something manmade.
About the prediction: People make so many predictions that it's not surprising that someone made some prediction that happened to be on this day.

This happens from time to time, someone sees something and doesn't know what it is and puts it on video. That video gets published and all of a sudden you have the entire population of the city looking up wanting to see UFOs, when that many people are looking its more or less a certainty that people
The guy that "predicted" this created a self fulfilling prophecy. He primed people to the idea, and then all it takes is one bad video where you don't know what you are looking at. It could be a plane or weather balloon or a piece of space junk falling from orbit, and then you all of a sudden have a city full of people claiming they see UFOs
|
heh strange, there have supposedly been sightings here too yesterday if our media can be believed

well air force officer predicts ufo display? i think that means that its actually a planned thing with air forces that might be misinterpreted as an ufo.

There are a couple of incoming UFO movies, this must be a viral campaign.

I'm disappointed that every UFO sighting in existence is just some blurry light in the sky.

I don't think it is a viral campaign, why would CBS help promote a movie on their news ?
However, this is clearly some baloons of some sort.
EDIT: also on the camera's quality, if you were on the street and saw something like this would you go get your 1080p camera or just film it with your cellphone in your poket ? just saying.

fact - all of those were balloons or reflections.

There's a difference between unverified information and simple publicity.

Because when you have a 1080p camera, and can hold it steady you review the footage, see that its nothing, and never post it anywhere
When you have a shitty camera you review the footage and go "ZOMG ALIENS WTFBBQ" and they try to get it out to as many people as possible
