Hopefully that anger/resentment doesn't carry over into his casting, or maybe it should, who knows. Regardless, I'm super looking forward to seeing him cast. edit - How does TLO get an invite but not IdrA? Seriously, wtf? I'm getting this sneaking impression that IdrA's past actions/attitudes may have contributed to Blizzard not inviting him. I do think that idra's attitude has a little bit to do with it, but I think it's mostly because he rarely plays on US at all anymore. He only plays in Korea these days, and a lot of his games even over there are customs. Seeing as Blizzcon invites are based on the ladder, it doesn't work out well for him. TLO isn't high on any ladder at the moment, but that's because he's playing on a different ladder so his EU rank has dropped and he isn't caught up on KR yet. He was high on the EU ladder at one point, though, and that's probably blizzard's justification for inviting him. Of course, I'm sure the fact that the entire community adores him (including everyone at blizzard since they invite him to participate in every showmatch they host) played a part as well. Idra probably knows that, as he has a much more prominent position in the starcraft 2 community than he had in brood war, and you can tell he's trying to behave himself more. i'm sure he sees the gsl casting as a way of really improving his reputation so he can be known as not only a great player, but also a role model like TLO. Because of that, I get the feeling Idra's casting will be really top-notch. He knows, whether he likes it or not, that in order to be really successful he has to be popular with the community.

I think he is pretty popular, not as popular as TLO, but definitely in the top 5 most popular foreigners (for the right or wrong reasons i don't know) along with guys like Huk and WhiteRa. However, based on skill alone, he should be invited, since he is the best foreigner atm.
