Correct me if I'm wrong, but the players don't get to look at replays of the other players. idrA gets an indepth look at the exact timings and tendencies of his opponents that you don't see in a VoD. I'm pretty sure all players can watch GSL games on TV, or on the main screen in the event's auditorium.

Nice to have a skilled player in the casting team, but are any of them actually good at commentating? You can be a great player, but a shitty commentator if you're not experienced at it.

I'm afraid in the end IdrA's going to be very dry and professional, with that monotone voice of his. I hope not, but that's what my gut tells me.

Lol really, cool. Should be interesting, not much impresses Idra. Though it will be interesting to get Idra's opinions though out the matches.

So one of the the commentators for GSL is the nearest possible white guy regardless of personality or experience or even if they are completely devoid of personality. I don't even mind IdrA these days but cmon. Good to know Blizzard is really ontop of this whole international eSports thing.

First IdrA cast is in 2 hours? Or is it tomorrow? (Just wondering which timezone they mean when they say 20th - 22nd)
|
One thing I don't quite like about IdrA is how dismissive he is of potential strategies. All I can see him doing in the GSL is pointing out mistakes people make (not necessarily rudely or anything, but you know.). We'll have to see how this goes.

Yes, and I've also seen how he acts in interviews We all want to experience the rage live, I just hope he doesn't temper it with caution too much.

Cella and Idra casting together sounds like the stuff of a good sitcom.

Grack: as you can see this noob is doing an all in, if I were playing I could crush him.
