Original Swedish article rakaka.se
The article is based around on what TLO said on his Facebook page yesterday:
This goes out to my dear swedes: Does any of you happen to know how to get hold of a Place in Stockholm with about 150sqm and like 5-6 rooms?
Will there be a cooperation between Liquid and Swedish Dignitas players like Bischu, Sjow and Naniwa that could share the house with TLO?
|
somehow, i kinda doubt it
|
just remember that this is rakaka.se, that has been doing somewhat tabloid e-sport related news before
we will see
|
I would take what rakaka says with a grain of salt. I love reading that page and read it every day but i read rakaka for the same reason I read "aftonbladet" (swedish newspaper):
gossip
|
A lot of assumptions there, everything that's confirmed is that he's posted something about an apartment in Stockholm. Eh, I'm skeptical.

what would he want to do in Sweden? Germany EPS has more price money and if he wants a good training enviroment he can go to Korea again
|
Well, if he moved to Sweden, it still would be a rather short travel distance to compete in all German Tournaments, and it would be really close to DH (I guess thats the only big tournament in Sweden atm). Moving back to Korea is a rather big step just to be in an traininghouse and it would be much harder to participate i EU tournaments. It would be weird if he was looking for a place that big for just himself, it would be pretty expensive in Stockholm
|
Why would TL want a teamhouse in Sweden? Do they really plan on moving players out of korea and back to EU on a more permanent basis? Seems sketchy.
|
The only reason I could see TLO/Liquid/whoever else is potentially involved being interested in creating a team/pro house in Stockholm/Sweden is if theres some Swedish league in the works that should at least rival the level of EPS if not more. I realize that there is an EPS Scandanavia, but that is nowhere near the level of the "main" (German) EPS.

Well, as i remember it he was here at dreamhack, and probably just liked the environment. Just like authors are trying to find calm places.

i think his girlfriend lives in sweden, could be a factor

From the way ret has talked in recent interviews it sounds very likely that he may move back to EU if he doesn't get code S this season.
I think it is kinda strange that they wouldn't choose to live in germany over sweden though.

I disagree. Maybe TLO wants to live in a prohouse together with some other players, just not in Korea. He wants to be closer to home or something. If he's already emptied out the obvious first choice, Germany, Stockholm does seem like a possible option. Dignitas players? The finnish players?
As a STHLMresident I would obviously love this...

As a STHLMresident I would obviously love this... You could argue that TLO is part of Liquid and if he were to join a pro house he would join one with Liquid members.

Hrmm intuitively prohouses should be close to big offline tournaments but I'm sure there good be good reasoning behind getting one here.
Who knows

I'm quite sure you have to live in Germany in order to compete in EPS.
I see no practical reason for him to move to Stockholm, as usual, take what you read on rakaka.se with a pinch of salt.

I agree that Germany would be more logical than Sweden for a teamhouse, but Im not sure how prices for apartments in Germany is compared to Sweden, and it might be more reasons to choose Sweden.

I can't imagine a 1600 square foot apartment being cheap anywhere in this world.
You're going to need a house to make it affordable at all. I don't presume to be an expert in the housing market in Germany and Sweden but I imagine it's not spectacular.
