I have no idea what that means. Is that a response to someone?
Edit: nevermind, didn't realise ITG was on.

Idra has fairweather fans because he is the most successful foreigner and is pretty close to the top Koreans. Idra's personality has nothing to do with it. Every successful competitor/team has fans that praise him when he is on top and turn against him when he falls. It's even in the fuckin Bible. But these "fans" are called "glory hunters" for a reason.
I agree partially with you. I think incontrol was referencing the fact that reddit blew up with people calling idra stupid for leaving the MMA game, so thats why he was saying idras fans are fairweather. But I also agree that the people in this fanclub were only upset (if they were) at idra because they wanted to see him win. But then again I doubt Incontrol spends time in this fanclub.

Everyone has fairweather fans as well as hardcore fans.
That's nothing to be concerned about.
I missed ITG because jtv messed up again, will probably rewatch tomorrow.

Supporting Idra regardless of results or drama.

Wow, this has got to be one of my favorite quotes of all time.

I started rooting for IdrA because he was just plain awesome, and will continue to do so forever. He's my zerg hero. <3

In the situation that was "the aftermath" it's very hard to tell on the internet who's venting and who's hating. Most won't admit it and would prefer to argue the semantics of it, but person a and person b can use the exact same words and not have the same intent behind them. Text being what it is, tone is often applied by the reader and not the writer. Really I'd write it off as the fans venting frustration, not really much different than IdrA himself does in game, and be done with it. That being said I agree that IdrA's personality opens himself up to harsher criticism. It's almost always been the case that the biggest "shit talkers" in sports draw the most vocal harshest critics, even from their fans.
I myself was incredibly frustrated to see the IdrA that assumes and GGs rather than the IdrA that knows and GGs. Not that this advice is any good, but if IdrA is his toughest critic, next time he gets in a situation he thinks he can't win he should just try and prove himself wrong. If it doesn't work, he was right and gave it his best shot, if he was wrong he gets the win, the internet and venue goes nuts, and the "mentally broken" shoe is on the other foot. There is a reason starcraft fans yell fighting and not playing.
Just my one cent.

I am glad that he acknowledge that as one of his weaknesses and is something he is working on!!
User was warned for this post
i dont understand the warning so i guess i will expand upon my point.
this comment by idra was made on DJ wheat podcast. he admitted that his mental block was his weakness. my comment was just saying that i am glad that he is working on that.
i was by no means insulting idra or the fan club

Keep telling yourself that integrity.

IdrA was the first one doing hydra/spine pushes against protoss on small maps I think, but NesTea made the lair rush into spines against forge FE :D

I'm not a real IdrA fan in the sense that many others here are but what Rasun said is exactly why I watch him. Theres no bullshit about him. He's just who he is.
