Going off the OP, it is 3 lings for 50 minerals and 2 supply. Meaning at max supply you can have up to 300 lings.
Speedlings is 2 lings for 50 minerals and 1 supply. Meaning at max supply you can have up to 400 lings.
I love the Raptor upgrade though. Definitely good against kiting units. One advantage is that you can have the 300 earlier then the 400, I suppose. Since they create 3 instead of 2, with 100 larvae spend you're at 300, while 400 would take twice as long (200 larvae)

The way they talk about how it is oh so hard to add more units to the multiplayer game is laughable. If they remove anything, I won't buy this expansion or give 2 shits about SC2 anymore. Most of SC2 was based off BW, a better designed game. They basically used BW as the template for SC2 which is like 90% of the game. It's clear these developers don't actually know how to develop new and interesting content for multiplayer. Actually whining to us that they got the balance perfect now and don't want to ruin it. -_-
It's sickening to hear that coming from Blizzard reps. The old Blizzard would've been like... yeah it might imbalance the game... but we'll make it work. Heck... the actual amount of FUNCTIONING units in WOL is poor. It's clear they have balanced pegged for only 3-4 units max and just made everything useless. Easier to balance the game, right? My confidence in Blizzard just dwindles by the year...
Really? The overseer is not cool? Of course not. I thought it was there because overlords are not detectors by default anymore? Did they forget why they put in the overseer in the first place?

A: From a display perspective, there's been some components that make it difficult, such as APM. There is one thing that we want to do, which is make it more clear what real time vs display time is, and how they interact. The score screen is based on mission time, and the game clock is another thing, and it could be broken depending on what we do. And actually when you play custom you can actually adjust it, and it is an odd thing and is something that we're looking into. It's one of those backlog things.
And why would would someone waste our time with a question like this? It's been gone over a thousand times why it's different. Hint: the game is played on faster.
Same with the LAN question. Why do these community QA's seem more community QQ?
It's a lot like WoW QA's of Blizzcons past. People travel 1000s of miles to ask that one burning question to the dev panel that might provide some interesting insight... but NO, they ask a QQ question. "Do you plan on removing colossus?" "Why are durids getting owned in arena?"

I love the Raptor upgrade though. Definitely good against kiting units. Zerglings are 0.5 supply. I would assume it's 2 supply for 3 swarmlings because 3x zerglings = 1.5 supply. Hence, I would assume 6x swarmlings would be 3 supply, not 4.

ok, so the most asked and least answered question for me i; Will there be changes in the multiplayer? Like some new unit or so.. It feels like that would be a very bad idea for the pro-scene since it would make games less fun to watch for a while.
Im only a spectator nowadays (lost interest of playing after a while) but games are getting really good in WoL.
New units in multiplayer would make ENOURMUS changes but still a part of me would like to see new awesome units.. =(
I would like to hear what ze pro gamers feel about changes in multiplayer.
please redirect me to a thread where this is discussed, cant find it and 60 pages of talking about HotS singleplayer dont apeal to me.

There will be units moved in and out of Multiplayer, but info hasn't been released as of yet.

If they really make updates to the graphics it will be so bad,200v200 b attles will be 5fps They better optimize the game better for ATI because its horrible atm
