And no, Tamura Yukari is not on the list. I gave up halfway through B tier because it became way too much to draw and good thing I did because I spent way more time on this than I'm willing to admit

I'm 3 episodes in and it's surprisingly entertaining. Very comfy, no really annoying characters (Rin is best so far), no annoying humour (I actually got some decent laughs in every episode) and it makes me smile. Yuru Camp is so comfy not even you can shit on it.

As someone said before it's pretty hit or miss from episode to episode and for me there was definitely more miss than hit. Didn't help that I didn't care for the characters, which is a bad sign for a character driven show. [spoiler]Spike died in the end, so what? I didn't feel anything.[spoiler] So yeah, it was a handful of good episodes and the soundtrack going for it. That's it imho.

As a side note, anybody watching Quintessential Quintuplets? My interest was piqued by the name, but it seems to have a good snappy script.

When I decide to watch an anime, my main concern is if the synopsis sounds interesting enough to watch, and I'll usually give it a try then. Only reason I remember Yanagi was due to the OP she sang in Nagi no Asukara if I'm not mistaken. i think Nagi yanagi was just a singer and not a VA? At least I know her that way but tbf most of the stuff she did besides maybe the OreGairu OP was before my time so never bothered looking into it. Yes, I know she did the Bakemonogatari OP. What I'm trying to say is that when I watched Bakemonogatari and got in here it was already out for years and finished airing. If I had included Tamura Yukari I would have drawn her as Jibril from No Game No Life btw, which she did amazingly and I do like her for that. Nanoha was def before my time as well. And checking MAL now, she did Tenten in Naruto. That's probably someone you'd know. And no, if you're not interested in Voice Actors you don't need to know Tamura Yukari more than anyone else that got similarly famous. I'd personally put her somewhat on the same level as maybe Hocchan? Fits quite nicely agewise and they know each other well. Granted, she (Tamura Yukari) is def up there and an amazing seiyuu but not like she's the indisputed top#1 or anything like that. Sent just likes her a lot and it's his favorite 3d waifu.

Youll end up watching a bunch of loli's cooking meat curry and adding coffee to it.

Didn't know whether they could make a tank protagonist interesting in the long run, but if he keeps adding party members and the shield keeps improving its versatility then there's a lot of potential here for fun action. Also, Raphtalia is adorable and they actually spent some time developing her which I appreciate.

Also, Raphtalia is adorable and they actually spent some time developing her which I appreciate. I also do like it as I'm a sucker for isekai but I maintain that it just feels rushed to me. The entire 2nd episode + Show Spoiler + dealing with slave girl, her trauma and essentially overcomming it, at least to some degree feels like something they should have covered over multiple episodes to me. It was incredible obvious what the conclusion would be from the start and while I'm not against it in principle I do question how it was delivered in the anime. Yes I know he treated her nicely for a couple days and that's how it should happen but I question how fast she was able to deal with her trauma. I would not have been surprised one bit had she actually been frozen in place in that cave, not able to move, nor fight no matter what you say to her given how severe they made that trauma look like. So tl;dr, I don't mind the story but I would have preferred had they done that over the course of 2 or maybe even 3 episodes or made it more apparent that a lot of time passed between cuts. This way it made it look like all that's important to the author/anime is how the MC reacts in that situation, rather than how slave-girl behaves/suffers in that situation and eventually overcomes her trauma to some degree. That being said, I do still find it enjoyable and the outcry over it is hilarious so I'm tuning in every week. But the description "lazy writing" is one I'd agree with based on the first 2 episodes. At least for the Anime version that we're seeing here. There's so much that I want the author/director to expand on and to show us if they're going out of their way to include all this in the plot but at the end of the day that doesn't seem to matter.
