''The participation fee is $100, so every player walks away with that.'' in my math -100 + 100 = 0 so they dont get anything or is this my mistake? it seems to me if you have the players paying $100 each and they ''get it back'' you have a $4200 price pool instead of $5000 | ||

Every player who participates will get at least $100 for their time. | ||

To put things in perspective. The first large-scale sc2 tournament, the Day9 King of Beta, has a total prizepool of $3000. How has time changed. | ||

Due to Blizzard Rules, tournaments of $5000 or less are exempt from certain rules.TB caps the tournaments at $5000 and remainder gets carried onto the next. Most of which came from donations of fans that enjoyed watching and also adds during the show. | ||
