Twitch is a party of useless morons. Since the last update, I need to make an account there in order to watch streams in their Android app. How can anyome be that idiotic?
What is the link for ByuN - MaNa? It would be cool to be able to pass the mouse on top of MaNa vs ByuN on the live event tab and see which streams we have available
Wtf happened, I didn't realize how smart ByuN was with his moves. Painful to watch MaNa committing suicide because he couldn't handle the mental pressure, but that makes the Squirtle vs mvp and mvp vs TOP GSL finals even more beautiful, superb mental resilience

ByuN stopped trying to win without starport units
No I mean when he fled from the fight in the middle of the map that was in a bad spot, to come closer to his base and the high ground. MaNa knew it would be a shit spot to take a fight but probably accepted defeat and attempted to fight in a bad spot xD.
That speaks a lot about ByuN aura, MaNa thinks of himself as better than bluecheese and the likes so he doesn't accept losing to such players, but against the greatest player of LotV he accepts it relatively quickly

With viewer numbers this low it seems to be extremely generous by TakeTV to even organize this event. The 15k donated by the community + a few $ from the usual sponsors should not be enough to pay for all the fun.

Reminds me of last year when ByuN won GSL and Zest was in a massive slump, then Zest beat him 4-1 at kespa cup
I'm not saying Zest would beat him, but ByuN's TvP is very shaky. He recently lost to Super and Hurricane, which aren't far of Zest's level
I really need to see Super and Hurricane vs DemusliM and Heromarine before I say they aren't far from Zest's current level, which is painful to see at times. PvT has always been the mu he can shine in or be embarrassingly bad at though.

He lost pretty badly at the most recent WCS iirc. So I'm talking about that, not about his performance at HSC against lesser players.

He had good moments in his series against Byun, but then when he made a mistake Byun capitalized on it well. I guess it could have been 3-1.

"Stats isn't so hot anymore" this is based of what?
His online performances are sketchy, but his offline games are still good. He got top 4 in SSL, and ro8 in GSL last season. This season he's beaten Solar and aLive in SSL, and won his GSL group.
His only bad tournament run this year has been in Super Tournament, he lost to Gumiho (who went on to win GSL)
A Zest in horrible shape who's losing almost every offline game in korea can still take the current WCS champion to the last map. GSL vs the world will be fun.

And we have to give special thanks to sOs, Classic and herO (especially sOs I guess) among them since they have been carried their race from the beginning of 2013, their contribution (both mentally and technically) just never fade away. Also RIP Rain and Parting, I don't think any of the young Protoss player (if there is any) will reach their level ever again.

He isn't that different from ShoWTimE and has been showing less consistent play so I think he'd get a good old 3-0 spanking. I'd say it'd be close vs Serral, but he'd lose 3-2 somehow like against Elazer.

He' already disgraced himself many times over the past months. Only time will tell if he is the prodigal son and Korea will take him back in.
Losing to a foreigner in the group stage takes the shame to a whole new level though.
It isn't significantly worse than bombing out of the GSL prelims after losing to Scarlett and TIME.
At least Scarlett and Time are near the top of their foreign scenes. Top foreigners can and do beat mid-tier Koreans now and then, but Heromarine is not Major/Kelazhur.
Is Scarlett though?
Scarlett, the only foreigner, who has destroyed Innovation in his top form.
When was that?
When she took the first map, threw another game with excellent amove into the mines and then lost to a scouted 2rax?
Well, the OP said "Inno in his top form," which he obviously was not unless you think peak Inno threw away four medivacs for free on a regular basis. Inno's scouting was awful that series, as shown by his tanks against ling/bane in game 2.

TIME is probably a little better than Heromarine at TvP, but the difference isn't huge.

Series wins, yes. Neither was Inno in top form (both were online, first was a pair of bane busts and second was literally Inno being shaken awake at 7 am in such bad form that he got his hold position Marines killed by slow banes).
Scarlett played very well vs Inno in the recent GSL, but Inno was also far from peak form in that series.

That's peak Inno?
It most certainly is not, as I already addressed. He donated 4 medivacs for free in game 1, didn't bother to scout and made blind tanks against ling/bane in game 2, and derped around with a cloaked banshee over completely unprotected mineral lines in game 3.

Well, there are a couple things I have to point out then. 1. Watch more 2013 INnoVation, that was definitely his peak 2. 2017 is a long time with a lot of games and Inno's form (like everyone else's) fluctuates between games. 3. Their games in GSL were not a peak form Inno by any means, as I have explained in my posts above. He made multiple unforced and egregious mistakes in each game.

Scarlett threw hard, that is true. She definitely could have won if she'd played a little smarter. But I wouldn't even call that Inno's standard form, he was making mistakes all over the place. Standard form would be something like INnoVation vs soO in VSL Finals, or INnoVation vs ByuL in SSL Season 1, or even INnoVation vs Solar in SSL Season 1.
If you want to see Inno in peak 2017 form watch Dark vs INnoVation at IEM Katowice (Ro24 Group D). If you want to see actual peak Inno, watch Soulkey vs INnoVation in OSL (2013 WCS KR Season 2 Ro8)
Peak INnoVation was in 2015 when he got his hellbat all-in scouted and defended by Rogue and then killed him 2 minutes later in a macro game by amoving marines.

Ayyyyy, Inno's tactics and such were actually terrible in WoL, he got by on raw macro alone.
Though, there was a time in early HotS where the "macro Terran" was Flash and Inno was actually known for his micro.

Guys, sorry, I am not going to watch some old Innovation movies. When I have a retro mood, I am watching old sOs movies. Even now, during HomeStory cup, I watched again this morning's pressure against TY. When it was already over, but it was not. Classic sOs.

2013 sOs was also amazing, to be fair.
The glory days of KeSPA are come and gone. Flash, Fantasy, Rain, Soulkey, and all those others, gone to dust and song. The Machine is still crushing nerds though, truly the Eternal Terran.

I was not around at that time (probably in the middle of the Amazon jungle), but I am not that interested in watching old Inno vs. Taeja games. I even watched again sOs vs. JaeDong BlizzCon 2013 finals and I realized, it is not interesting at all, it was the time of deathballs and would lead just more to balance whining. While sOs's victory over Life in the next BlizzCon 2015 finals was pure genius ...

I actually don't know how I do it I think it's bottom right -> top left but I'm not sure that's what I do in a game. I think that depends where my cursor came from too.

Honestly if we can judge his play vT according to what he showed vs Demu / Heromarine, it will be a straightforward 3-0 destruction
Yes, of course he will lose. But it is better for him than if he had lost to Serral in a bracket.
I think he'd have probably lost but in close series vs Serral. And with nerves and his champion past, you never know. But vs Gumi, yeah he'll be able to use the gsl champion excuse, but I don't see how he won't get embarrassed
