As an Ajax fan I certainly hope they manage to impress. But come on. Ronaldo not showing up for a CL match? When was the last time that happened?

Give respect where its due. Juve dont even need ronaldo to beat Ajax.

Zidane is back and everything is fine. Even Bale plays well. The man is a wizzard.

Yeah Real played a lot more structured it felt like, Isco looked good again and Marcelo also looked good. Zidane just seems to given them instantly a lift. Dropping Tibo might be an intersting thing to look into though, i dont get what Tibo did wrong...

Well, the choice of a keeper will always be tought in that situation. Thibaut is good, but Navas is so solid, rarely makes mistakes and always has the miracle save in his sleeve(just like today's game). For now I think that Zidane will rely on Keylor, because he is the safer pick. Overall the GK situation in Madrid is really weird. Now they have 2 good senior and 2 good junior GKs.

English FA are a joke and really need to answer questions after this. 2 goals for city after being 2-0 down (now 3-2 up) would been ruled out for offside. So so poor. Biggest domestic cup competition in world is being screwed

They probably know the Zidane system better than any of the following ones. They've drilled that for multiple years whereas Solari and Lopetegui had their philosophies around for some months each.

When will Chelsea fire Sarri and hire Conte again ?

Think Sarri is gone now, Holland and JT will come in i think and steady ship. Hopefully get us winning Europa league which is still a good chance as the teams in that competition are woeful.

Well the only thing I blame sarri for this game is starting Pedro. The guy is useless when we're playing inferior teams. We don't need his work rate and energy. We don't need his predictable cutting to his left. We need a winger that actually stretches the full back. Both cho and Willian are better than Pedro at doing that.
I hope sarri stays and we somehow replace our useless fullbacks too. Is it that hard to whip in good balls? Or for them to actually scare defenders with their movements/crosses? I like Dave but he just doesn't cut it as a fullback. Argh frustrating.

He started Alonso because he played well against Kyiv who were literally the worst team i have seen us play this season by a long way. We have 0 motivation and our away record in the league is awful. There is a reason we scored 5 goals vs Kyiv, it was because they were bad plain and simple.
Sarri's time might be up now as that is 1 point from 6 when we are chasing down the top 4, winning the Europa league looks impossible if we can't turn up away from home.

Pretty good match happening right now in Betis v Barca

Absolutely stunning goal. If it wasn't him scoring it, everybody would go crazy.
Really underwhelming week by Messi too. Only five goals and two assists in two matches

For Everton, a first home win since 13 January was a much-needed response following last weekend's defeat at Newcastle in which they lost 3-2 having led by two goals.
hahaha, so nice of Chelsea

This is a goal I would imagine some football openAI to come up with because it's just not natural to think about it like that. It's really out of this world . Art in finest form. The spin, the unexpectedness, the distance, both defense and attackers looking bewildered at it while it flies in... the keeper is only like 1 meter out of goal... he's not out of position... but yet he is....it makes no sense.
