Though a large part of me don't want to celebrate that much for my friends in BW who feel bad about the great old game dying. I hope Kespa also does something for BW.

You should hear what the BW pros said about sc2 and how many of them are incredibly depressed at this news, and even more are leaving esports altogether. Korea is going to keep rejecting this sad excuse for a successor no matter how much Blizzard/GOM try to shove it on us. Take off your blinders. SC2 is evolving into quite a good game. Games were very boring and unimaginative during beta/early release; however, we are starting to see more and more complex games at the highest level. What are BW pros currently saying about SC2? I am not interested in what they had to say during beta. What are they saying now that they are playing and practicing the game? I know that Flash, for example, is actually taking a liking to SC2.

Uh... Not really. A large majority of BW pros are upset or planning on leaving. This is all recent released statements and tweets from their channels, not to mention real life statements from my own progamer friends. Take it from someone who is actually here and know them personally, not just from watching them on streams.

I have been reading the BW section for years. I am a fan of both games. The majority of posts are people who just won't let go and have been praying that SC2 fails since before it was released.

Though it saddens me that if he goes full time caster there won't be much room for playing.

This means that you spent years in mastering the game. Then suddenly there is the announcement that you have to play AND LEARN a new game. This means that you have to start from 0 again. The game you have to switch to is SC2, a game that was 1a ball vs 1a ball for a long time. You hated that game. Now that game has involved into a much better game, but you don't know it. Would you be happy to switch? No. Would you start kicking around, telling everyone that you will leave? Yes, probably.

Imagine you are a BW pro who has been practicing BW for the past 2-3 years for 10 hours a day. Although some of the mechanics and practice habits will transfer over, a lot of things will not. Some BW pros will definitely do well in SC2 but some might not. It is still a big risk for them. For the top players (Flash, Bisu, etc), it is probably not as bad because they are already financially secure (until their current contracts run out). But for up and comers who were close to making it big, it is probably disheartening to have everything 'reset' and have to start from the basics again.
