http://www.redcoon.nl/index.php/cmd/shop/a/ProductDetail/pid/B199799/cid/8235/page/6/#detailtop I was looking at, but I read some reviews saying it has a design flaw.. so then I truly have no idea. Looked at that SC2 headset with the apm, but i dont think the microphone is very good on that one. Anyone? :D

Needs to have a great microphone! http://www.redcoon.nl/index.php/cmd/shop/a/ProductDetail/pid/B199799/cid/8235/page/6/#detailtop I was looking at, but I read some reviews saying it has a design flaw.. so then I truly have no idea. Anyone? :D Since you're dutch: If you have a savings account with the ING bank, you can order a Sennheiser PC 360 G4ME for €100.00 (half off), plus €10 shipping. I ordered it recently and I'm very happy with it. Keep in mind Sennheiser is a genuine audio products company. Gives it some credibility over your average gaming products manufacturers, imo. Other than that, the Steelseries Siberia v2 seems to be popular here at TL. I don't really trust the mic on that one though. Basically you'll have to decide whether you want open-ear or closed-ear (noise cancelling) and whether you want circumaural (ear cushions go around your ears) or not (cushions sit on top of your ear). I just did some research on headsets and went for the Sennheiser. If you have some other questions you could PM me. Hope I helped!

It's fine, the Microphone is pretty clear. It has a nice 7:1 surround (Digital) so good for movies that have digital surround options. Works. But I wish the sound could be slightly better, however not sure if I should wish for that since it's quite cheap imo

Wouldnt recommend it in terms of microphones, comfort and sound is pro though. :D Microsoft Livechat is like a ~£30 ive got two sets of them sitting spare, they're literally the best microphone ive ever witnessed on a headset, probably because its built purely for that.

SteelSeries Siberia V2, decent bass, quite the tank, pretty good audio quality, and the mic is quite good too, im wearing it right now. My brother can get them for $80, so that's what I'm looking at getting. 80 bucks it's not that bad as long as it's a newer version, the older version was recalled due to feedback form mic getting into the left speaker. The new version corrects it. The sound is fine to me maybe not the best for music but most headsets for that price aren't. I find the surround setting sound stage to bit a bit large for my taste but maybe that's just because i like to win games so picking up sounds more loudly like footsteps is how i like to play haha but i found it much nicer for movies. The Dolby pro logic II means you can set your game or source to 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound and the headset will covert that using Dolby's nasturtiums for the headset to reproduce a surround sound. Dont question it you have 2 ears you dont have 8 ears to hear surround sound. http://www.dolby.com/consumer/understand/enhancement/dolby-headphone-details.html In otherwords i find it works great for movies esp the large action movies, great for late night watching if you work days and the person you live with works nights so yall have to be courteous about making too much noise. Music i find it's good little weak in the bass for my taste but w.e Games i find the surround is a bit large which is nice for movies but i rather have it smaller get that feeling of right behind me. I personaly love my razer headset comfortable and stylish a lot their also a great value compared to the steel series ones.
