That leaves us with 4 koreans who are paying their trip from Korea. But yeah it's a bit odd. Should have 4 invited Europeans aswell Europe has nothing to offer in return (remember GSL spots are on the line, that's the deal). Also 4 big name Koreans dramatically increases stream numbers. 4 Europeans would not.

Its feels odd that there are actually more Koreans at a foreign event than EU players. O.M.G. I'm so excited I feel like a preteen girl. If the production matches Columbus this will be awesome. What a great thing MLG has going here. Would anyone have any suggestions on whether I should wait til just before Anaheim to purchase the HDpass considering they operate based on a three month period? I'm only really interested in watching events like these (and the VODs) and don't really have any interest in using any of the other features of the pass. Is it still worth waiting? Anyway, SQQQUuuUUUUEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeEEe!!

Sorry, but I don't see most of the players in the pool play as good as all these who are attending the open bracket. Sadface. (Complaining about the format)

Is there really just ~10 Europeans participating? And like 90% of all are NA players? :/

(Complaining about the format) The open bracket is stacked too, but don't discount DRG, Nani, Huk, Sjow, Sheth, MMA, MMA, MVP, and Boxer (who is fun to watch no matter what the level of play, and capable of doing well too).

Ok, in all seriousness I hope in future MLGs the prize money is enough to entice more talent from EU to travel across the Atlantic. Its feels odd that there are actually more Koreans at a foreign event than EU players. The problem is more, that due to the format people that are not expecting to win/place REALLY, REALLY high have no real reason to go... I mean, you achieve a good place (Top 15 or something like that) and the next time your just in the same old open bracket... That’s not really a good perspective. MLG's format is bad for truly international play, some sort of open qualifiers for a few spots in the Groups could fix that but I doubt MLG is willing to do this.
