Looking forward to it then. |D I'm sure Hyuk will lose to Modesty, but even "if", what the fuck do you expect to win with such a play? Just being realistic, JD is going nowhere, guess good old days of solid ZvZ wins long gone.
The real question is how he can have a (5 game?) winning streak against arguably the greatest progamer of all time and lose to a bad player like Hyvaa.
Just goes to show that ZvZ is indeed a shit matchup.

guys even with tiebreakers, maybe JD wouldn't advance
It's safe to assume JD is already out...

That is not a valid argument, by far.

but then JD is out with hyvaa? JD beat Modesty and lost to Hyuk. It's ZvZ, luck is a pretty big factor. And Hyuk isn't exactly bad at ZvZ either. even if it is zvz, watching hyvaa play there made me sad he can barely micro mutas vs scourge. i wouldn't put it all down to luck.
Hyvva was like bottom 2 in ZvZ elo. Above the mightaswellberetired Juni.

Now other Zergs have step up their games...

some beer today to soothe the heartpain, anybody?

is it true that if hyuk advances 3-0 he will be dodging flash/fantasy/killer? hmm hyuk might try to take the game against modesty

in other news hyvaa now has a winning record against JD

gentlemen, when is OSL day 6?

Sucks to be a guy who said "if JD will not advance i will cut my arm". Now hope for Hyuk to win (and than JD good play in tie breakers) or...better buy some painkillers, you gonna need this.

If he wins he advances 3-0 The only thing Hyuk should care about is getting to not play Flash, which he should be able to do by winning against Modesty. If he loses, he'll play Flash, Killer or Fantasy, so I'm pretty sure he's motivated enough. But, we shall see. I believe in Hyuk! :D
Edit: When would tie-breakers take place, should they happen?

no, but he did make a very smart tactical decision and had good execution to take down the extractor. he controlled his lings well, lost none unnecessarily (i think?) until the extractor was down.
it is easy to fault jd + BO but sometimes these small mistakes end up being much huger than you think. it is very easy to criticise from a retrospective point of view but these things escape many people when you're concentrating on something else.
how many people could have seen the extractor snipe was possible before hyvaa did it?

ah missed that, thank you

what does it matter? the small chance he wins would not compensate the bigger chance of losing and getting in tiebreakers
OH WAIT THEN MODESTY HAS TO DO TIEBREAKERS WITH HYVAA AND JD OOOOH
sorry my bad

Plus, if he loses I think he'd advance as #2, and run a great risk of playing Flash or Fantasy in the Ro8. I don't think he's going to throw the match.
I really hope he wins... but my hopes for Jaedong advancing from a tiebreakers aren't that high at this point. He just seems to have lost it in ZvZ.
