People are STILL SAYING THIS?
While DRG is good, Optimus is at least in the top 3 Terran in the world. What is this? Outside the super tournament and gsl3 he has never been past the ro16. Before that he didn't get out of the groups until like....may? Until further notice he is still indeed just polt. The guy was in university until he actually got good. University is a place that u can definitely skip lessons for games. Not the best university in seoul. Well, i study in the best university in asia (university of hong kong), and i can tell u that u can do it and graduate without any problem unless u want to graduate with first honor or scholarship, etc Is this thinly veiled brag post? Let me trump you, I go to Princeton and I DO NOT have to time to play more than 3 hours a day with extracurriculars, studying, varsity etc. Sure, you can graduate by just passing your exams...but whats the point of graduating with a 50%? Nothing to be proud of Lol. You must have a bum major if you still have 3 hours to practice sc2 even with extracurriculars and varsity. What, do you hire people to do all your assignments for you? As an Electrical Engineering and Computer Science major at UC Berkeley who had several extracurriculars last year, I had a ridiculous amount of free time. Find a good, reliable study group, and you're pretty much set - it makes studying and homework so much simpler. Do you like, not have any readings to do or something? I was a Eng Lit major at UBC and never had any time...
Readings? You don't really need to read much in technical courses if you have a good study group to figure out the material with and pay attention in lecture/discussion. Occasionally you'll have to read when the material is proving to be trickier, but it's not that much.
Some humanities courses that I've taken had a lot of readings, but I always just don't bother with them for most of the year and then read the entire amount of reading material during finals week (that is, if the course has a final. If it's just essays then the assigned readings are, in my experience, completely unnecessary). It's a pain, but it works for me >_>

I go to a pretty difficult school, and I have a ton of free time, but I don't really do anything else besides study, gym, sc2 heh heh.

I missed some words when I type fast. If I go to princetion, i would not have time etc etc. I don't see how someone splitting time between school and sc2 can beat someone playing sc2 full time...if that was the case, then wouldnt everyone be doing something else while sc2?
