you may have played this a long time ago, but this version is new, harder, beatable, with many improvements.
more efficiency--you no longer have to beat every level to win, or beat the easy levels first. if you beat the hard levels, you skip the easy ones.
more variety--you also no longer play the same level over and over again. you get 1 shot at each level in a group, then you start over if you didn't win the group.
more difficulty--5 hydras vs 3 zealots? now it's 4 hydras. time limits are now a bitch, too.
pls check it out if you're good at this kind of thing, i would like to re-order the levels based on difficulty (each group should be ordered from hardest to easiest), but i need more feedback to do this. i'm also looking to tweak the time limits, or difficulty if i see a compelling enough situation.

those time limits are killer
this is freaking hard -_- I guess that's good, because you can AI abuse and win pretty much any other micro map

and you put it in there TWICE, just to spite me -_- it's the 1 level that i only win rarely. i know i used to win it all the time like 3 yrs ago. i still know it's beatable, but i only beat it with luck now. there are many ideas that help in it, but i'm not sure which matters most. first of all, zealots run around all stupid getting hit by drones trying to get to the lings. this must be minimized. secondly, u must move groups of your zeals so that they A) fight together and B) the injured ones are moving out of range and staying alive as long as possible. ideally u end up with 5 zealots still alive and they fuck upt he drones. also might help is C) sometimes attack the drones directly and D) run away, let lings get in front of drones, kill some of them, repeat.
i'm kind of not sure about the time limits. i know they're fine, but maybe i could allow more room for error.

Fun.
I went to stage 3 after quite a few attempts and then lost my last 'life'.
I thought: - goons vs goons/zeals: quite balanced. Kill the goons first while avoiding zealots and you should have 2 goons alive (even managed to have 3 a few times) to finish off the zeals, although one of them will probably be in the red. Then hit&run ftw. - marines vs zeals: found it pretty easy. Only failed two or three times cause I was overconfident. :p - tanks vs goons: just hit the same goon while staying as most as possible out of the goons' range. If one tank dies before 2 or 3 goons are killed, you're screwed. - hydras vs zeals: just got here once and died horribly. - zeals vs drones/lings: always failed. i tried retreating the damaged zeals, avoided getting surrounded by too many drones, but I still died and the only few times I had 3-4 zeals left with a decent amount of HPs, I didn't have enough time to kill the drones. - lings vs zealots/probes: surrounding the 3 zealots and killing them before finishing the probes off seemed to be the best solution. You have to surround them perfectly though, so if the probes are too close to them you're fucked. - zealots/probes vs zealots/more probes: well it's basic zealots vs zealots micro. I either pwned them bad or lost by a big margin. - scvs vs zerglings: found it totally impossible. I suck at microing workers without any mineral patch or geyser around. -_- - zerglings vs scvs: you have quite some time in this one. Picking up the workers one by one seemed to be effective but I still failed every time but once, with like one sole 10HP ling surviving.

i'm trying to order these hardest to easiest: missile: goon/marine/tank/hydra/goon2 melee: zeal/ling/zeal2/scv/ling2 mixed: zeal/goon/ling/tank/zeal2
for missile, from what pop said, it seems like it should be goon/hydra/tank/marine/goon2, if not hydra/goon...
for melee, maybe scv and ling2 should be moved up, but how far i'm not sure. maybe it should be zeal/scv/ling2/ling/zeal2?
for mixed: actually, mixed should be the 5 hardest stages in the game. i'm not sure what those are right now. maybe the top 3 from melee and the top 2 from missile, whatever those are. then in what order?
time limits: i think maybe i should add at least 5 more vespene for zeal, i dont see abuse as much of a problem on that level. would that help enough?

i didnt get past the melee stage, zeals vs ling/drone i ended up a few times with even all 5 zeals alive, ready to kill those drones, but then times up t.t never made it.... i won scv vs ling 1 time but i dont have a clue why ling vs scv the time limit allows some one by one killing and saving ur red lings, made it a few times zeal vs zeal and ling vs zeal depends heavily on the comps position, sometimes u win, sometimes u lose horrible

the ai fucking up is really annoying. i wish blizzard would fix that. then you could use patrol for goons soo much easier.

also as far as comps position, do you think certain spots (12, 3, 6, 9) are advantaged or whatever? or is it just random? i think part of micro, a big part, this map teaches, is the setup, which you can control to some degree, although tricking the ai into a bad one is kind of a flaw, but unavoidable (i try to come up with levels that minimize it but in this map i have focused less on this and more on just improved structure/difficulty, accepting the limited ai abuse as just a necessary evil that still leaves skill involved)

Made em all except the zealot vs ling/drone, still got victory in the end though. The marine vs zealot is too easy imo. One less marine or less time. The zealot vs ling/drone needs like 3-5 more vespene. Always like 3-5 drones left which I dont have time to own up.
I liked the new additions except the tank one which felt kinda random because of the goon AI.
I'd like an M&M vs some sort of range unit. Goons or hydras.
So yeah fix the time on Zealot vs ling/drone please.

the next version i put out shold be new order of levels, so i am still waiting for a consensus on the order of levels from most to least difficult.
you dont have to beat all the levels to win, u only must beat all the groups
m&m vs ranged goons might make sense... hm.

i just uploaded new version (new level orders based on what you guys said was difficult + more time for the zeal level). thanks guys, keep giving feedback and i'll keep updating.
the 2 weak levels i'm considering modifying currently: 1-tank vs goon. someone said it's too luck-based 2-marine vs zeal. everyone says it's too easy. i think people's marine micro vs zeal has improved a lot or something. maybe i culd make this harder.

I prefer being bottom left to the other positions. I think some of the chokes are a little narrow.
And the order for the first one should definitely be hydra, goon v goon/zeal, marine v zeal, tank v goon(this isn't as hard as people are saying), then goon v zeal.
