What if they invite a lesser Terran player against which Mana's mana pools are effective lol? If there are beatable Koreans, I can see Mana taking this whole thing. Surprisingly weak groups overall though, that's a bit disappointing. Well, people are either playing in MLG, or they're not going to travel to New York City :S.

I Gotta say that KiLLeR almost won the match against MC at IEM Cologne and took down TSL_Killer on a showmatch at stage. The problem is his ZvT, it really sucks and it doesn't adapt... I really hope he trains a lot and I haven't seen his ZvT since Cologne, but the biggest trouble might be that he easily lose confidence after a loss when he is so far from home, I hope he can play the same way I've seen him laddering at the KR server.

No Dignitas member will attend MLG Orlando. As far as I know SeleCT stays at the FXO house and prepares for Blizzcon.

Best of luck to all players I'm sure it'll be a fun event regardless of who wins and loses. I really hope your group will have a korean terran. And sjow is pretty damn good... thats really cocky :o On September 27 2011 16:02 DH_Remorse wrote: No big names :/.Wheres Select at ? Sjow, sterlok, qxc, mana, tt1? Mana is one of the best toss in europe atm... dunno what you are looking for.

It depends on what caliber the korean players are though, as to their chances at winning. Elfi has been taking names since forever. Beating Nada at assembly, Mana Msiprocup etc. Elfi could possibly take it.

MLG has the better players and more of them, better casters, plus barcraft events that are already planned all across the globe. They really couldn't have picked a worse weekend. Its because of late the IEM America events have been hosted at ComicCon and this has worked out well for ESL, so they re-booked it. It isnt as if they went out of their way to compete with MLG on this weekend, in fact they have a history of actually not doing so eg. no cs1.6 at IEM Cologne because of the e-stars tournament being held at the same time. But when starcraft is a game that has such a depth of players that they can still put on a strong show I think that's fine that its on. It isnt easy to completely reschedule a whole event when it includes finding another massive venue etc. Also I dont think you can blame ESL or credit MLG for most barcraft events that are happening because 1.) thats all the fans work and 2.) the phenomena probably didnt even exist when either event was booked! Its going to be a good event, and I dare say by Championship sunday a lot of people might be tired/saddened by all the Korean smashing so its nice to have a smaller event with a slightly better foreign chance to turn to in a dark hour
