Chinese players have always been ridiculously talented and there are several documented cases of Chinese players competing with highest level of Korean's during BW. When this series turns out to be a lot close than everybody thinks, I'm going to quote this post =).

In a best of 9 series, I don't see any team beating slayers because the depth they have on their team. They could go to the 9th game and still have a top Code A player playing. Idk if it's really those two sucking so much as they're still in Code S RO8/4 when their team league matches come up. If they've been practicing one specific matchup, they're stuck in a weird situation where they don't want to play it (or they'll reveal strategies) but they're not as polished on the matchups they are willing to play.

For now all I need to know about the mainland China scene is that Loner is still placing highly in Chinese events. On November 30 2011 13:48 babylon wrote: Of course he's not full-time SC2. What kind of question is that? I don't follow WC3. I just know Infi exists and is very good at WC3 but has played in several SC2 events, so I was wondering if he was like Grubby and plays SC2 all the time or if he's like Lyn who is mainly WC3 and dabbles in SC2 periodically.

It doesn't serve your purpose well and certainly adds nothing to the discussion. Care to enlighten me with tournament results that show Tyloo able to compete with slayers in a team league? Maybe something besides losing a couple series 1-2 instead of 0-2? China is great at dota and WC3. Its not like I'm china-bashing. Its just that their results have been extremely lacking and they make no effort to catch up by competing in foreign events. No, it's you who need to "back up" your "condescending" post when you said Slayers could send out Jessica and still go 5-0. I never said Tyloo was able to compete with slayers in any format of league, and I don't think any foreign team can do. But I don't make stupidly over-exaggerated post to make me look cool.

No, he's like Lyn. He basically seems to dick around in SC2 and if he manages to qualify for or is invited to an SC2 event, he'll play in it, but he mainly defaults back to War3. In fact, he's playing in the War3 G-League on Dec. 3rd as the defending champion. Fun times, man. Fun times.
