If it is as bad as FXO is claiming then they either need better internet or they just need to man up. So many people players play cross server (Illusion plays on KR ladder and Europe) and he does just fine.

You can run across the map smooth as silk, then when you reach the other side you spike like hell. It doesn't effect macro much though.

Interesting. Could anyone tell me if it's worse then the delay you get playing on the US servers from EU?

Unless you're like BratOk all the way from Russia then I'd say it's even.... I still remember seeing the humongous difference between his play in NASL and his play in LANs. Don't quote me on that though because I'm not entrely sure...

On Kr Na lag, the straight up latency is something that sucks, but it's something you kinda get used to. Regardless of that, it's still not that great, but what REALLY blows is the random as fuck lag spikes that happen sometimes that make the game nearly unplayable and can last as little as a few seconds to a couple games. They come out of nowhere too, nothing else running, not even another browser and nobody else on the connection etc...

Liquid` complained when EGMCS didn't use the process for choosing maps that the TSL used. There wasn't any inconsistency, Liquid` always advocated for the use of all servers, not just NA. By that time, you were back in NA, so naturally the argument was less appealing. With regards to the latency, most people seem to agree that it goes in and out, sometimes it's awful and sometimes it's fine. It also depends on what IP you have, some are much better than others for playing cross server. This is second hand information, but I've heard it from many many people.
