A team I have never heard of a player I never heard of and the only thing on the website is the roster and a big "Coming soon" sign... And the only one on the roster is Elvis... This sure smell like advertisement.

people can't just make announcements for people we've never heard of, for teams we've never heard of. well obviously they can since they just did it. now get out of here and take your attitude with you. You gonna tell me and the 10 other people, which is half of the thread, to get out too? Cheers mate. I don't know about him, but I will. Players such as HuK and Naniwa didn't get eFamous because they just happened to get announced, they got it because they are very skilled players, this guy is 'top 50 gm' which while being a good accomplishment is not the kind of thing which makes me jump out of my seat. Not everyone is a Naniwa or a Huk you know. That's why not every player gets a fucking ridiculous thread announcing an announcement through teaser websites and bullshit sound files. Other players get a simple thread announcing their new team. Fuck, even threads about shitty songs are still up and running, why isn't an announcement like this worth its own thread? It's about a player joining a team, the most seminal act in the SC2 scene. If you don't care about that and only about star players, I'm sorry to say but you're really superficial. And people wonder why it's so hard to break in the SC2 scene... It's because people like you don't give a shit.

good luck. not sure why everyone is bashing on creating a thread of a relatively unknown player who needs the exposure :-P
|
Congrats! I'm always happy when the scene gets a chance to expand and more lesser known teams and players. Best of luck to everyone involved.
|
Good luck Elvis. Here's to new talent!
|
Elvis is an awesome guy and a great player, I'm like 1-6 against him now x.X;
EDIT: In responce to the hatred, Elvis often streams and beats all your favourite euros like nerchio and stephano and TLO, so just because you haven't heard his name doens't mean he isn't good. People need to embrace new talent not act like fags.

Happy birthday, but still if you don't know him its not his problem? Doesn't mean he is "unknown". He might be no superstar, but he's very known to me and a lot of other EU players. I still remember when TaKe / me did cast him against Startale_Rainbow and he took the game very easily so.. he is always high ranked and has good tournament runs :x
If you really think he's a noname, please do your homework first before writing its not worth an announcement.

Who's fault is it if not yours? It just means you are too busy watching your favorite players and not keeping an eye on up and coming players. I for my part and others know him... so who's fault is it?

wow everyones gotta chill, you can't blame the consumer for not knowing what the new up and coming products are. Its the job of the company to market it if it actually is any good anyways.
Though i suppose if you don't give a shit about the player and the team, its better to stay off posting in the thread and posting some "smart" remarks.
I don't know who these guys are anyways but good luck!

I don't know why most of the posts in this thread are so negative, but I'm always happy to hear about new teams and players making their way into the scene. I look forward to seeing ELVIS play. Good luck~
