There must be something up with FXO. Nothing is "up" They all came to this decision themselves, remember they all have spent 2 years practicing and doing so at a very stressful level and still not seen success after that long you start to wonder if you will ever do well on a global scale, how long would you continue with that before you thought about career change?
Well, thats good to hear at least. Understandable decision. Will FXO look for new talents or will we see more of Aqou, Kong and Supreme (see Liquipedia) in GSTL?

Sad to see this happening , I really liked ASD and his steam. Well good luck to all of them !
|
I wonder if they will hire any new players since there are a lot of good unemployed players right now.
|
GL to those guys, even if they didn't have incredible individual results they contributed to FXO's incredible team league showings
|
i didnt know any of those players.

Didn't asd just participate in Code A qualifier today?
|
i don't think it's a big deal for sc2 in general. as for them personally, they tried, they gave it their best, it didn't work out, so they moved on. best decision in my opinion, i wish the all the luck in the future

Didnt asd have wrist problems anyways? IIRC retiering was the best for his health then.
|
Hope FXO plans on doing some recruiting.

Sirius even made it to the final in Group 5, but he lost 0-2 to Lure.

This is all that needs to be said really.
Doubt any of the 3 players will read this, but I'd just like to thank them for their efforts.

Wow, really sad day. Whale was single handedly the player who I modelled my ZvP after and asd and Sirius were both very solid players, Sirius looking better recently while asd has definitely been on a decline for the past year or so. Really sad, best of luck to whatever they decide to pursue though!

Supreme is one of the coaches and "mom" of the team to phrase it best, Kong is an online practice partner as his parents wont let him move into the house, Aqou we picked up 3 months ago and is progressing well i'm told
