Very entertaining. There's no denying that the calibre isn't top tier (like Korean Code S/A) but since both players are of very equal/similar skill it raises the perceived skill level (if that makes sense? It's not a one-sided roflstomp) and leads to some very close game. Also there's been some pretty unique strats thrown around, so yeah, good fun games so far. NA players are better than people give them credit for. Puck just beat both Sage and Hyun the other day in WCS qualifiers for example. If that isn't Code A level play than I don't know what is. It was cross server man. You can't ignore that. 0 North Americans have advanced to the ro16 and don't forget that 8 Koreans qualified in the first qualifier. Hell, Demuslim is a far stronger player than Puck and he lost to Byun 17 times in a row on ladder...
As crazy as that was, they DO normally go fairly even on a day to day basis.

not saying maker is bad, as he's loads better than me, but his play in the mlg qualifiers vs suppy, in wcs vs alicia and moonglade, and now vs minigun leaves a lot to be desired

Yeah, actually amazing how hard photon overchage shut it down. Planet S is probably the worst map to do it on too.

Well, hate to be a negative nancy, but I'm vehemently watching the mini-map. So much being missed.

They really need a better observer...

ummmmmmmmmmmmmm is husky acting as the analytical caster in this duo? o_O

I think TB is both casting and observing, hard to do both accurately at the same time. Hope we get a dedicated observer next time.

I wonder if nerves are the big issue? He's obviously good enough to hold a high rank on GM, but his offline track-record is limited (honestly I actually hadn't heard of him until the WCS seed announcement). Lack of experience I think.

Apparently, he said so on Twitter.

Are you not entertained?

I think you are expecting a bit too much here. The Shoutcrafts have always been only partly about game quality, analysis, etc. and more about giving players a spotlight and spectaters a fun tournament to watch. I think this one is doing well in that aspect, if you don't expect something that was not to be expected.
Just enjoy the show.
