His play isn't that crisp. I think he didn't bother checking out the new units and just jumped straight into the ladder, learning as the game goes along. I watch his stream because it looks like he is genuinely having fun playing.

it's fun to watch him learn HOTS as he goes

GM in 7 days after a month of Dota2 bootcamp. Impressive. Let's hope he keeps it up and brings in some good results!

SeleCT was always one of my favorite players to watch! He's pretty much the definition of a baller.
His drop play was pretty scary in WoL.....and now he's got speedivacs....
I'm psyched! Go SeleCT!

Lol I always like when someone give up on moba in favor of Starcraft :D

Yay SeleCT ! So happy to see you back, I almost cried seeing you retiring

He doesn't even stream anymore.. wtf? I subscribed cuz he was very adamant about practicing and streaming but barely see him online anymore.. this will be the fourth subscription I have to cancel now because of the lack of sc2 streamers with subscription options....actually streaming.

He just attended the Redbull training battlegrounds. He'll be back with streaming soon I think, or at least after MLG.

Nice to see him back in business!

Look at his rating history on aligulac : http://aligulac.com/players/200-SeleCT/
Funny to see those plots not moving when he was out of SC2 xD
Anyway we can see he clearly hasn't retrieved his old skill back, but Gm iw the way to go! gogo SeleCT!

I wouldn't judge him based off that man. It's not like they forget to play even though there is a lot of new stuff in HotS. The guys who were GM and have a knack for the game won't struggle as much. It's like riding a bike for them. We have to look at how well he does in tournaments.

Good to know. He was one of my favorite players to watch in WoL.

Indeed, mine too. I don't think he will ever lose his crazy micro skills, so not surprised he is already back in GM.

Yes, if you try to quit for a few months and ythen comeback, i am almost certain that you will get same league or better in less than 1 week. Starcraft is all about brain muscles.
