I'm very bitter indeed but I respect the player he is more than I respect the numerous TL dweller whose opinions are really getting under my skin. That being said ->

He was invited by Blizzard, they paid his flight, paid his accommodation (apparently) and now he is saying he spent a "good time" in Europe. I bet he did. Coming crush foreigners with superior game decisions is certainly very satisfying but it doesn't help anyone. Basically he is just a Korean representative and while thanking his fans is very polite of him, this doesn't diminished the fact that he isn't a true EU representative. Obnoxious wasn't perhaps the right word, tactless is more accurate. But he isn't really responsible for the situation he is in. He just took advantage of it.

Actually I'm pretty sure it helps him.
Really certain about this fact. So just because it doesn't feel right in your book doesn't mean he's tactless.

It's pretty obvious that it's the European fans who have adopted Mvp and he's just playing it up. Have you not followed the threads/reddit at all? It would be poor form for him to just ignore it.

Idd. I quite like it actually, pretty funny. I can honestly see how this will frustrate people tho, but it's not Mvp's fault or his European fans that he was allowed to participate in WCS EU. Someone like forGG for example is a visible boost to the EU community and Mvp at the moment isn't.
Mvp's like "yeah i feel confident in any matchup" and Innovation's like "Mvp is a great player. it will be a difficult match. i have no specific preparation for TvT."

Haha still bitter mvp beat your boy stephano huh? More tears please. Tears from stephano fanboys are always the best kind of tears. MVP is the true European champ and will win it all!

The man got told he is now called Jurgen during the winner interview when he won WCS europe implying he is now representing europe for the WCS. He is now saying he will do it for all the European fans and you got something against it? All he is doing is playing around with his fans which is might i add fucking awesome.

I thought it was nice of MVP to shout out EU. It's hardly obnoxious. In any case, the eSF pros, with one or two exceptions, are effectively foreigners now given that they seem to have little hope of unseating the best KESPA players, so EU might as well adopt MVP as its own. (Having said that I'm sure MVP will now promptly beat Innovation and steamroll the winner of sOs / Soulkey.)
