Still I need to get used to play in full stacks /w tactical focus since I only played yolo-q until now but at least it worked better for me yesterday than on tuesday. Also I can't associate the voices to names but I guess it will be better with the time we play I noticed you spoke ingame sometimes and not so much (not at all?) on ts, was there a problem? I think your mic sound was a bit too low as well. You'll get used to playing with full stacks, just try to communicate more about what you're doing and what you're seeing though, it's really useful I set new push-to-talk key yesterday and I guess I mixed it up sometimes with the ingame CS voice key but I also had CS-ingame-voice deactivated...this way some of my calls could not be heard I guess ^^ Did my voice just come from ts or ingame-voice too (or maybe both)? For the next time I check the settings again, otherwise just tell me if my voice is to quiet or loud so I can fix it to an ear-friendly-level Another thing is that I'm the lowest rank and so most times I listen to others before talking some stupid-noob-stuff. Also sometimes I don't know which spot to go, e.g. usually I play gay-corner on A when CT but it seems that's one of your favorite spots too. We lost 1 or 2 rounds because of I wasn't sure where to go else until I was told to hold short. In the end it was communication problem from my side but I will try to improve. Not to mention that positioning when we play is a lot different from what people are doing in yolo-q at my rank Tbh when I was watching you it always felt like you were lagging a LOT. Did you have problems with your connection?

There is no noob information :D If you see something, tell us, if you can throw a flash for a team mate, if you resmoke middle, if you're pushing somewhere, if you need support to peek etc... Although i'm pretty sure i never heard your voice on the ts
If we didn't call spots and go default, watch the radar and you'll probably see a spot that isn't being covered, it's a very easy and basic way to fix that. You were playing with me middle, on both sides, that's good enough for me

I always knew you guys had the potential you just needed someone to organize things.
So thank you, Censured. You're the man.
Also props to xkcd for getting EU their server again. I just got really angry one night because I had no one to play with and wanted to do something about it. Yeah I want to say thank you to xkcd as well, you saved us with the server.
Btw I updated the first post, don't forget to vote guys

Too many nuke votes in that poll. We should hunt, find, and bring those people to justice.

Shhh, my disguise is working so far.

btw are we gonna play same lineups as thursday? that shit was really tight
|
Yeah, we can keep the lineups if everyone agrees. Question: Should we hop into mirage already, or should we continue playing inferno for one more session? It feels to me that one map per session is not that much. One map per week sounds so much better imo. What do you guys think?

I'm fine with both. Exploring a few maps during one session, then maybe in the future we could take a closer look to specific maps spanning multiple nights.
|
How about cache tomorrow then inferno thursday (or vice versa) so we both do them twice, then we can start the one map per week thing
|
I actually think it would be neat if we did a bunch of different maps, one session each, then when we've tried a fair amount we can decide which ones we'd like to specialize on. So we'd do mirage this tuesday, a new map on thursday, and maybe another new map after that. Then we'd poll which ones we'd like to focus on.
Either way works though. On a different note, I believe someone pointed out maybe we should record the strat talks we have before hand so I downloaded OBS to have some easy recording software; and then I kinda just fired up my old stream as well, thought it might be fun to stream it all. Assuming there are no dirty stream cheaters on the opposing team.

Count me out for that, my connection wouldn't support both the stream and a lagfree game v_v

Hi Guys,
i would love to join you, in case you still got a spot left.
little bit about me: im playing cs since 1.3, but stopped playing after some time CSS. (never really competetive)
Would be cool to finally have a team to practice strats etc, usually i play mostly Solo-Q.
My skill badge says Supreme, but im not..was just lucky with teams/enemys. I'd say im LE or LEM. My biggest problem is that i played mostly dust2, and lately some cache and mirage, but im really lacking experience on other maps than d2.
i just had a few weeks off because of RL. so the idea to REALLY practice with a team to see how far we could get sounds pretty appealing. I will try to catch you this evening to play with you, or just to hang out if you already got 2 full teams (dont want to steal a spot from someone else)
See you and have a nice day
|
Good luck playing d2 with censured ruling the map votes :D
Just come on the teamspeak at 8pm, we start by talking about the map and strats so it doesn't matter if we're too many for that. If theres more than 10 players for the games people will just switch each game generally
Add players from TL too so you don't have to mm alone as much

Welp, that's actually good for strenghtening his map pool if we don't play the only map he knows well.
I.e. I mostly play well on Cache, Mirage, and Cobble, and I learned a lot when we played Inferno, some cool nades, potential strats, etc.
