If you're 6, count me out. I got a ton of stuff to do, and was only there if there was a remaining spot. I'll stay on Steam, just pm me if needed.

Haven't played with you guys before, have posted on this subforum a few times but more of a lurker.
Just saw you might be some people so decided to offer my merc services!

I was watching the stream from the opponents on the side. Ouch! These guys were pretty damn good, apparently an all Global/SMFC team...
|
Didn't saw their ranks but indeed they were good :/
|
Well it didnt help that we didn't execute a single strat, my calling was terrible, we pushed into sites one by one and our aim was pretty bad (except ardor).
|
Yeah i was completely useless most of the time, especially on mirage
Games like this were to be expected though

Just saying what I said on the stream so there's a trace:
- We should avoid talking too much about the last round. Analysis is better done after the game, or during a pause, not during the freezing time, which is already a bit too short at our level for IGLs to call full strats. And analysis should be done imo with a replay so facts can be checked, and things can be understood.
- We should avoid unnecessary comms, like "oh my god he killed me when I peeked he's too good, are you kidding me?". It's hard, even for me, but it just pollutes the TS with completely useless stuff and gets to nerve.
- We should avoid calling too much for mates to do something. Give info, and then trust them to do what's right. If they don't, back to bulletpoint #1. It also play with nerves when someone just repeats the same call with an irritated voice, most often than not your mates are already aware of what you're saying.
- We should shut up past death, just calling positions with the deathcam and then nothing else. No-thing else! It's tense enough to clutch or even to play at a disadvantage to have someone polluting comms once again while they're dead and thus can't bring any additional info.
Also, other things to note that we discussed, if we want to have a team that performs well, that starts by having a regular team and not 5 out of 10 people with no particular preference. And these guys train, no matter the frequency, it being often, sometimes, or even just a few times, but at least get down to a decent core (I'd say 4 people). Otherwise, what happened tonight will repeat ad vitam aeternam while people don't all know nades, strat, common callouts and teammates playstyles well.
As I said, I definitely don't have the time to put in CS:GO at the moment, unfortunately, even though I'd like to, so I'll pull out of any kind of game we're doing seriously, even trainings, unless needed because some core player is missing (and if I have the time obviously). But sit down, take at least 4 regulars (when I say regulars, I mean _real_ regulars) and form a team based on them (if you want to). Otherwise, we'll have to lower by a lot more our expectations, obviously, and content ourselves with the best we can achieve and not much more. It doesn't mean we can't do 10 mans as well anyway.
Alright, my thoughts. Peace!

Just replace "We" by ArtyK and you're golden!
Seriously though, apart from that one round on cache i usually shut up in freezetimes to ask the IGL what we should be doing.
You say we should analyse the game afterwards everytime we play, but we never do...

You say we should analyse the game afterwards everytime we play, but we never do... Until a team is set I don't think it's worth it. Individual improvement should be prioritised over teamwork until you're on the LEM-SMFC level imo
|
We had 3-4 guys of the "core" team, there should be at least a couple of things to say about some of our rounds tonight ><
LEM-SMFC is meaningless now, and basic teamplay should be prioritized over individual (you can practice that anytime you want without the need of TL bros) I mean we still do noob things like throw 2 smokes in the same exact spot as CT because we don't communicate. We also don't setup crossfires enough imo, that would have won us some more rounds unless of getting picked 1 by 1

Seriously, you're not the only one doing that, I myself tend to do it sometimes, and it's not limited to tonight. So "We".

I know but most of it was me tonight, sugar and ardor never do though
