Then you say, "well, if you do qualify, you have my respect" even after repeatedly saying he has no chance, which is stupid, because every player has a chance in courage. Then you overreact when I sarcastically point out that he probably wouldn't care about your opinion.
All we're doing is wishing him luck, there's no need to go and try to crush whatever aspirations he has with statements like "sorry no way you qualify, don't be offended." Who are you, Nostradamus?
What if I said to you, Naruto, no way you succeed in whatever occupation you pick for yourself. You will not succed. Sorry, don't be offended. You would still respect my opinion? This a fine thing to say? Get a clue.

I already wished him luck in many other threads. I just don't want him to be disappointed if he doesn't qualify, because its no shame whatsoever. Thats what I wanted to express. Maybe I'm kinda hard if it comes to telling such things-_-.. I'm a very realistic (drifting to pesimistic) person.

That's how you start failing in life. Everything begins with a thought, even failure. That's why everybody is saying "Go Go, you will do it!". That's what encouragement is. Unless you're trying to use some kind of reverse psychology? Which just.... fails?
Anyways, Idra, I somehow felt, that you're a guy, who is really fit to improve in such environment. You don't have that unnecessary pride for your wins and losses and that is exactly how you should be, to become a pro! I really have high expectations from you! Crush the noobs!

He doesn't need your advice and guidance. He will play and improve. He said he is probably the worst at the estro house. I am sure he isn't the only one without a progaming licence. He will try the first time. Then a second and third time and then he should perform better.

I dont like it when people talk any chance or opportunity of a other person bad right before anything happened. Idra is not a child who needs a guardian or custodian. You can be sure he thought about all possibilities before he decide something and when he believes in himself and that the chance is worth to try it is a good thing.
Even if other players like Draco couldnt fullfil their dreams in this case.. so what? Is he dead now? It was still a experience and maybe it would be more worse to him if he never tried it. When there is a challenge you can always lose or fail. But when you dont even try it you have lost this opportunity already.
Also i personally doubt such predictions are really made because of care to the other person but more if people take their opinion a bit to important and want to show that everybody. But whatever thats also only my point of view.

Naruto, we all know its gonna be tough for him, but the power of encouragment is strong. So is the power of putting people down.
Good luck Idra!

Leggionaire and Assem both were successful, which includes passing the old and new courage tournaments, so again a false fact.
The skill gap to pass courage isn't too high at all either and I'm certain he'll eventually get it, especially considering he's supported by everyone and is comfortable/motivated in that situation.

I think the most important thing for a foreigner to become a progamer isnt talent, but the ability to play 13 hours a day every day without immediately passing courage/getting on tv. Its discouraging, and its part of the reason why I think draco wasnt successful.
