Couple things from tonight that might be worth mentioning; We probably have to take more initiative on our CT sides in trying to gather information, that could definitely have made a couple of the A defences/retakes on D2 a lot easier. Then of course communicating this and try to get back-up for it, meaning popflashes or re-frag situations More communication when playing sites as CT would help a lot in taking good engagements, it almost always came down to CTs on site taking individual fights during pushes, I know for sure we lost a couple unecessary rounds on D2 B-site because I failed to pick up any entries and died before Rogg engaged and other scenarios like that Also I think we should take more advantage of the potential for entry frags that we have on the T sides of maps like Cache or Cobble. Felt like Rogg and I were pretty good at just walking up to a site and getting a headshot on cache, but we never really did anything explosive with it, so might be worth exploring some plays based off of that This is of course from my limited perspective, I honestly have no idea what CT-side A site looked like on D2 for example

First game on D2, we win knife round, start as CT. Pistol round - we go 3 long at the start, they smoke corner of long at all 5(?) rush out. Somehow we trade 3 for 3 as luolis hides in their own smoke and then gets 2 headshots before going down. Ardor and Rogg rotate from B, get one of their guys in mid, last guy desperatly runs to B to plant, but Rogg is there to stop him. After that we win 2 anti-ecos and first buy round, which they decide to rush B for some reason. Ardor and Rogg holds B with ease killing 4 people. At 4-0, they force buy and somehow get opening kills with pistols both at mid and on short A. After that, they just roll over us, 4-1. Next round both teams buy, we got opening kill on long, but somehow they got 2 frags on short and mid and then just steamroll A site, we decided to safe (I was at 1hp that round). Next round exactly the same scenario, we got opening kill on long, but they got 2 frags on mid, even pushing to CT and getting one more frag before getting traded. 2v3, Ardor alone on B getting one frag before going down, I couldnt clutch the 1v2 retake. 4-3, we are full eco. I somehow get into really good position on short. Sugerfluff is baiting for me hard, I peek at the perfect moment, get 2 kills. Rest of Ts are distracted in mid while Luolis pushes T spawn all the way from B, getting another 2 kills. Last T getting only one kill before going down... Pretty good eco if you ask me. Sadly, things went south really fast. Next few rounds, we always lose mid control and in the 4v5 situation they just go split A or B and win pretty easy. From 5:3 to 5:7, round 13: we finally get first frag in mid, so they just go yolo B. Rogg kills 2 before going down (so it was 5v2 for split second), but our retake was absolutely terrible, we went 1 by 1 and all got picked by their awper. After that we couldnt get a signle round on CT, so the half time score was 5:10. On T pistol round, we took short control and after trades all around the map its 2v1. We are taking A, me on short and Ardor long. Their last guy is on CT, lands headshot on me and then in one second turns around 180 and headshot Ardor. Pretty fucking crazy. Next round we force, get the bomb down in 2v2 , but nothing more. After that round and the next eco round score is 5:13. First buy round, simple mid to B strat, we kill all CTs even before bomb going down. Next round the same thing happens except we were doing A split. 7:13, we are against eco, somehow we get into 3v3. But the bomb plus we get one more frag, so its all good, right? Nope, one guy with AK flanking from long, gets 2 kills. I am alone, kill one guy on CT, but after that I push the long guy like a moron and lose the 1v1 duel while he still has time for defuse. Next round we lose 2 guys early on mid and long against double awp setup, after that the round is unwinnable. Last round we desperately rush B, not getting a single guy. 7:16, GG. I think we didnt play THAT bad except the two crucial rounds, the terrible 3v2 retake on CT side where we went in 1 by 1 and getting killed by the awper, and the anti-eco on T side. It is not easy for me to judge tho, since I only have my pov demo. I uploaded it here if anyone wants to watch. I am too tired to write about the cache game, sorry... maybe someone else do it

I really wish we could see the demo from their POV cause I felt that their T side play was pretty good. They played meticulously, not committing to anything early, usually taking control of cat before choosing a site, and I atleast found it pretty stressfull, not knowing where they were going until fairly late. I agree with Ardor that better information gathering would be a good thing to practice and would have changed a lot. On the subject of maps I think, now that we are a bit more defined as a team, we need to reconsider some things. I think the fact that we did better on dust2 than cache despite us liking cache says something. We've played cache most probably but not so much with the lineup we have now and we really have no standards as to setups. If we want to keep playing cache (and I'm torn on it, I like the map but it is aim intensive and I'd rather focus on executes/strategy that definitely isn't impossible on cache but perhaps simpler on other maps) I think we need to streamline our CT side (for example we played 1:3:1 a lot but there was no coordination as to who held what and we never mollyd boost despite that being a problem angle for us) and adjust our T side a fair bit. But that's something we can get into in our next practice, as undoubtedly everyone will have some ideas and thoughts. I really want to start practicing D2. It's such a well established map and I think practicing the tried and proven strats on such a map will just help our teamplay in general. If we don't (and that's fine I know some people don't like tha map) I just think we should start banning it, cause anyone who picks it probably has a ton of experience on it. We seemed to agree on playing cobble, and I really like that map as well so hopefully we can have a talk about who wants to play what positions and have a few practice games on that as well. I do agree with Ardor that future practice should be on faceit (or maybe cevo or something) the only problem there is that the ban/pick phase means playing the map you want to practice isn't always easy (but that's why it's good to have several maps with predetermined standard setups ready to practice.) I'm also wondering if we should try setting a practice day on the weekend? Rogg has stated several times that weeknights are difficult for him so maybe a sunday would be better? All in all, I thought it was pretty fun (although I did get pissed the last few rounds of cache, I never considered myself an emotional player but I definitely tilted after a while ) and not a horrible showing considering it was our first time in any sort of league and the amount of fluctuation within the team since its inception.

Overall they we better than us tho and outplayed us pretty convincingly. I did not played very well (did okay on dust I guess) but sometimes I also felt like the server was not registering my shots at all.
